  1. Just taken mine out the other week and got spotted by phlukey the same day it came out I dont know anyone but im sure your all a friendly bunch
  2. Next meet is 1st of may right? About time i came to one really!
  3. Done a quote with you yesterday and you were so far out it was crazy. Got a quote from Green light who offered £490, Adrian flux at £430 and you quoted me £1500. This wasn't even on my supra... It was only my Audi diesel.....
  4. its horrible graham. Thanks soopra ill have a read now. Just last thing i want really. Just spoke to a friend and he said that they are in for 10 years then its surgery again just to replace the batteries!
  5. The other week i got diagnosed with supraventricular tachycardia. (Nothing to do with the supra:rlol:) Got to have an operation where they burn some parts inside my heart to stop them working. Dates been set for 2nd June and its just a bit of a shock really when i got the letter the other day telling me the odds in needing a pacemaker and the odds of a stroke. 1-100 for a pacemaker. Just seems such a high %. I got to go and see the consultant in the next few weeks, but at 25 i don't want one of them stuck on me. I don't know how it would effect my life either. Do you have to plug in when the battery gets low or you've had it? I just don't know enough about it all so was wondering if anyone else on here has gone through anything similar or works as a surgeon? Kind of s*****in in my pants really
  6. Does seem like lots are getting away with it, maybe they have become a bit more relaxed with it all now. And thanks kendos I'll check this out!
  7. Who does a front plate like the UK one but jspec sized lettering?
  8. Cered, reason being is that my current plate is very illegal and small and only stuck on with double sided tape. I got the car last year and wasn't really driving it long till I sorn it over the winter. Now I'd rather drive round with a plate in the window and never get pulled than this tiny one to get pulled every 5 min getting fines lol. I'm just about to get it back on the road so thinking maybe putting it in the window.
  9. What's the rules on on front plates these days. I know they can't be too small and the lettering has to be X mm high blah blah but I see people driving around with no front plate at all. Had a civic infront me this morning and at the lights with no front plate and a police car in front of him. He did nothing. I prefer going without a front plate, or one in the window. Can I get away with this? Is anyone on here doing it?
  10. Crazy. Without links to terrorism I wonder why he did it.
  11. So dangerous on the stock exchange sometimes tho. I was on long with RBS when the banking crisis hit. Luckily i had a guaranteed stop. Haven't really done it much since. ASOS Was the one to do back in the day.
  12. An apsolute work of art that. You must be over the moon with it! Could only dream of that bay!
  13. Mate!! How would selling it even cross your mind!?!! I want to know what the flappy paddle shift is like... At least bring it to a blue water meet so i can check her out......

    Rear tires

I'm in maidstone mate. Just want someone who really does know their stuff to set her up perfectly. I don't mind an hours drive as long as they are good. I could always get SRD to do it when I get decide to get flappy paddles fitted if it comes to it tho.

    Rear tires

Is their a place down south who know what they are doing that you could recommend for a good geometry setup? I do feel mine does need a proper setup.

    Rear tires

Hope im not hijacking your thread here, but what are the best tyres to go for these days for the supe for the summer months of driving, i have been reading around for a little while now and i just cant decide! Was thinking pirelli or contis. What do all the other supe owners tend to go for the keep the back end in control.
  17. It's more of a I don't want to risk bumping it and having to fix paint damage. Why risk it when you don't need to take risks with the sensor's that was my thought. In my Audi I can never really see how close I really am even when I look out of the back window. For the sake of 50 - 60 quid I thought it would be worth it that's all, just dont really want holes in the bodywork which I why I thought this was ideal if they were just as good. The camera is a good thought too if I can hide it.
  18. All depends on what people think really because taking my bumper off for the electromagnetic ones won't be an easy job but if they work well then ill do it and I wouldn't buy some cheapo 15 quid ebay ones that will fail after a year or so.
  19. It's not that i NEED them, it's that when i had them on a previous car life was SO much easier when parking up at my mums and the gfs getting into those tight spaces. Kind of like a lot of things we don't need in life but we have....
  20. Now I'm not too happy with the idea of drilling holes in my lovely rear end but It really would make life easier when parking if I had some sensors. I have come across some electromagnetic sensors. What do people think of these compared to the ultrasonic ones? Has anyone got them? I'm concidering on giving them a go! "Ultrasonic parking sensors Ultrasonic sensors bounce sound waves off obstacles, using the ‘echo’ time to indicate how far away they are. A speaker in the car bleeps – increasingly frantically – as they get closer. Pros of ultrasonic parking sensors •The cheapest form of parking aid – aftermarket systems cost as little as £30; car manufacturers charge £300-£700. •Sensors^detect objects even when the car is stationary. Cons of ultrasonic parking sensors •Ultrasonic sensors can miss smaller or narrow objects, and inclines can deflect the sound waves – a steep ramp, for example. •They also only detect objects directly behind or in front of the car, and may not work if the sensors are dirty or out of alignment. •Fitting usually requires drilling the bumper, but stick-on sensors are available (though unattractive). •Ultrasonic parking sensors not be suitable for use with a tow bar. Electromagnetic parking sensors Electromagnetic parking sensors create an invisible electromagnetic field around the car’s bumper; any objects entering it trigger a warning sound. Currently used by Audi, Citroën and Fiat, among others. Pros of electromagnetic parking sensors •Suitable for use with tow bars, cycle racks, etc. •Electromagnetic sensors are mounted inside the bumper, so there's no need for drilling. Cons of electromagnetic parking sensors •Electronic parking sensors are more expensive – prices start from £70 (aftermarket). The factory-fitted cost is about the same as ultrasonic sensors, however, at £300 plus. •Electromagnetic sensors only detect objects once the car has started moving."
  21. Lovely car mike I do love a white supe! Where abouts are you in Kent, cause I know what I'll be doing if my heater matrix goes! Looks mad! Don't think I would know where to start! Look forward to seeing it sometime next year hopefully at blue water!
  22. Waw that bay is immense! Everytime i come back to check the thread so much has happened! When your up and running I want know what the paddle shift is like. Maybe you can take me for a spin up at the blue water meet? Am very tempted to get it done!
