  1. Stick me on the list. Sick of my r/c car aerial jamming.
  2. So avoid like the plague lol. I'm getting close to needing one upper arm (might as well get both) so saving for that. Car is a 93' N/a is there any difference in N/a and TT upper arms? Also can you buy just stock bushes for the rest of the suspension if needed?
  3. I'm looking to do the same so watching with interest for more info. All I've managed to find out is it makes the car feel tighter and a harsher ride.

    Exhaust

Tempted by this. Is there a forsale thread for it?
  6. Got to be close to getting on the road now just need to get rid of this snow!! Looking forward to a passenger ride (I'll take you out in mine)
  7. Pop along to your local Toyota dealer they aren't that expensive. Throttle body gasket is £3.67 + Vat. Manifold gasket is £10.65 + vat and the final gasket is £9.14 + vat
  8. Bolts on the hub? What about the nuts a strut brace goes onto?
  9. Hahaha makes me laugh every time I see this surface
  10. Sounds about right to me. Cured mine with new plugs and leads
  11. Mines a '93 and displays the km at the end of the numbers. It reads 160,000km
  12. Shouldn't be any issues. I've never had any issues with mine.
  13. A new TPS from Toyota is around £100 + VAT. A second hand one will always be a gamble. I wouldn't be replacing parts until you know which part is at fault. (You could spend alot of money and still have the same problem). Have you checked for air leaks on the intake manifold, etc? How's you oil level? As for lights not coming up on the dash, bulbs could have died or been removed to hide faults. I would personally disconnect the battery to clear all codes the reconnect it and go for a long drive so the ecu can relearn its info and gain any fresh fault codes.
  14. As you don't seem to be having any issues with it James and its been like that for so long it could just be one of them things where yours is working fine your just been different lol. On the other hand there might be something that is causing it. I only really have basic mechanical knowledge . Maybe some more experienced members can shed some light
  15. That's a bit high for a hot engine. Does the car not try to take off when it's put into gear? I would check for air leaks on intake manifold gaskets/surrounding pipe work. Could a stuck open ICV raise the revs on Idle? How's your oil levels? Could you be leaking oil/fuel in to the cylinders and its combusting raising the idle? (Would be noticeable smoke from exhaust I would have though) not sure if any of my suggestions are plausible but just a though
  16. My N/a used to cold start about 1200rpm and drop to 600rpm (didn't sound/feel good at 600rpm). I changed my plugs to some NKG iradiums, changed my HT leads to Magnecor 8mm's and bought new distributor cap and rotor arm. Now cold starts about 1600rpm and warm idles about 700-750rpm. 300rpm must have been terrible. @Cobra07 is the idle speeds you posted on a warm or cold engine? Do the revs rise and fall on there own? Is it a smooth idle or is it sounding a little lumpy (rev needle jumping up and down)
  17. How did this come about? Has it gradually gotten worse over time? Was it one day fine and the next day behaving like this? Did you do anything to the car before this started happening? Could it be an air/vacuum leak? Knackered ICV? Did you touch/removed & replaced the TPS?
  18. I call dips on the rear wing doesn't look good poor supra. Looks like an older bloke waving at traffic (wonder if he's the owner)
  19. Okay thread revival here. I done the exact same thing as the OP. now car is acting like his was. I know I need to adjust the tps my question is though, do you simply just put the tps back on to its screw mounting points or, do you need to put it on to its mounting points then turn it 360degrees in either clockwise or anti clockwise. Been messing with it for ages now and searching the net for the answer to no avail. Thanks
  20. Used them the other day for a dizzy cap and rotor arm. Wasn't a bad price and delivered within a couple of days. I'd buy from them again
  21. Wide!!! Love everything about it. Except for me the rear arches just don't suit without the rear quarters been wider too. Overall very impressive though.
