  1. Can someone help me out ? I will of course take this to a garage but just wondered if anyone has had something similiar. In 1st gear driving really slowly I can hear a noise like a rattle (almort like when you hear a diesel engine ticking over) when the car is idling it is fine, when I engage reverse it happens again. It is evident when I touch the accelerator too whilst listening under the engine, I got someone to turn the ignition off and listened underneath and the rattle is heard just as the ignition goes off - it seems to be coming from towards the middle of the block at the bottem.Sorry for the lame description but im not a techie ! It wasnt tehre when I picked the car up and only started happening on saturday. I was thinking it maybe : Heat shield Cat Any ideas ? This is too soon for things to be going wrong:( especially after I looked so hard to find a nice car. oh BTW the car is driving fine in terms of pick up and acceleration - it idles fine too
  2. Cheers matey - will have to hook up when you get back to compare our beasts (ooer !)
  3. DOH sorry was reading another thread in another window while I typed this(puts brain back in) Cheers C H A S E
  4. Just did this and it worked - also entered my wheel sizes rim sizes etc and the final figure it gave me in the diameter driven & diameter reference was spot on with what Termy sent so it is all fine and I am just woryying for no reason again - cheers pulse dude
  5. Hey Pulse Thanks for the information that makes perfect sense and I was hoping someone would come and and say this as I my initial thoughts where along the lines of what you have stated Nice 1
  6. OK RLTC all installed and ready and calibrated,Im picking up the car in a few hours (hooray ! ) Problem is : I have been playing with Graham Ruds app and when you go to the "wheel speed sensor" tab then "Diameter driven" and click on the "rolling diameter calculator" it says : width 160 aspect 30 Rim 12 Even though the pulses etc have been updated On the instructions it says that the "rolling diameter calculator" always changes to default 12" - question is do I need to put my tyre /rim sizes in before I upload the details to the unit ? or would Termy have already done this and its changed back to default but kept the tyre sizes ? Just a bit confused. I have attached an image of what it is saying Im probably talking crap and getting worried for no reason again as I trust Phil would have sent me the correct .dat file I just want to make sure I understand this part of the process correctly Oh btw - if you hit f11 on the image it should allow you to see the digits a bit clearer

    RLTC checks

Hello people, RLTC is with my importers tech guy,he is fitting it before I pick the car up.Was reading on the website once fitted the LED should flash in accordance to the RPM,how do I make sure that the RL unit has been fitted correctly and is working(and they have done the calibration test) it doesnt seem to be that clear on the instructions(or Iam being thick) - does the LED flash in a certain pattern ?

HOWEVER - on the application list it says " toyota - rav4/mr2/celica / corolla " no mention of the supra - I take it this is either because (a) The do fit the supra - its just not listed or (b) I have been sent the wrong repeaters Any ideas guys ?
