  2. I would rather do it on the 27th so Mr organiser can come along and also having the Gumball the week be it may be too much for the girlfriend not having me to herself tof r2 whole weekends As always though I will sheep it ( go with the majority)
  3. ok guys I think im gonna do the east side too - so I will meet you all at boxhill with Neil on Sunday @ 12
  4. Wilson - the unit does have a working file(termies) in it - Termy - yep cheers will send this 2nite off the laptop at home. If its not Terms file anyone know what else this could be ?
  5. Ok people, after taking the supe out this afternoon with laptop and friend I discovered the calibration run may not have been done correctly - the "monitor" part of grahams application was picking up wheels speeds etc...but nothing was registering on "cut level" (numbers where not going up or down - Termy you where correct the installer didnt do the calibration run properly!) so I did the calibration run again and the "cut levels" where then being populated with numbers Led was beating happily in time with both wheelspeeds and also with RPM - all well so far ! - I thought yes ! we've sorted it ! Well now when I drive on wet setting (in the dry) the car seems to cut out at 2.5k revs (same kinda feeling as you hit the rev limiter) as I progress down the rotary switch(10,20% etc) it still does the cut out but at at higher revs - on the lowest setting I just about hit 2nd turbo and the engine cuts at 5.5k - if I switch the RL unit off all is well and the car drives fine. I dont think the RL unit was configured correctly since I've had it installed but now I have configured it,it seems to have gone from not doing a lot to being overly keen ! anyone know what this could be? Anyone had similiar problems?
  6. Didnt realise we where going sooo far but thats cool really looking forward to this now and the other guys coming in my car seem to have this as there topic of discussion for the past few nights Top marks to Mawby
  7. ok I will meet you guys @ bolney - any ideas what time you will be there for ?
  8. B*stard ! how the hell did he manage to say it was all working then ? I checked with the lap top and it was picking up wheel speeds and revs and also picked up on which wheels where ref / driven and it seems to work in the dry - weird.
  9. Gonna be doing the calibration run again tonight - just reading the "calibration procedure" section in the manual it states in section 3 "plug the calibration adaptor into the diagnostic lead" I dont ever remember having a calibration adaptor ! could this be the reason why my installer hasnt been able to complete the calibration run correctly ? Anyone know what this looks like ? - as without it the system cannot go into calibration mode
  10. get the windows nice & steamy(how you do this is up to you:p ) and then hit the switch and see if it clears - it should clear fairly quickly though:thumbs:
  11. theres about 12 people so far dude got any pics of your beast ? welcome to the board btw Also might be worth out checking the southern supra gumball rally going on the week before ,theres 22+ cars going
  12. Sorry guys - I had to work over too - dam slave drivers,
  13. I get the same noise also on ignition off as well as slow speeds - if I depress the clutch and turn the ignition off it is not present - it hasnt got any worse and hasnt caused any detromental affects on the operation of the gearbox - I was told by others that its nothing to worry about - im gonna try and find that thread:conf:
  14. Cheers Phil - thats great advice,I will try all this and leave some feedback as to whats happended. F A R
  15. I cant wait to see the look on the nova boys faces when 20 supras rumble up to the seafront - I guess none of them know we are going down ? This should be excellent cant wait
  16. LOL - na mate wasnt desired but was fun none the less ¬! Where do I check that these are set-up correctly ? - using grahams app presumably but what will tell me they are set-up correctly ? And if there not do I just redoo the configuration run ? Shall I not just redoo the config run anyway ?
  17. I must admit int the wet RLTC doesnt seem as good as I have read about it,like the other day I had to correct the back end exiting a round about at 45mph ish - which I assumed RLTC would sort out (on wet setting) - so I think I need to check the wheels I dont have any axel stands but I presume I can do these one at a time by jacking the car up and doing one wheel at a time (?) Do I monitor these under the"wheels speed sensor" tab? in grahams app I really think my RLTC is not set up properly - its seems great in the dry but I thought it would have done more for me in the wet. Termy should I send you the dat file before I do the above dude ?
  18. colour magic and chipstic are quite good even though I found using the chipstic in warm weather not as effective as doing it in a cool garage.
  19. yeah she aint bad actually nice legs er..... i mean yep she is good at operating the camcoder
  20. OK Well my GF's friend wanted to come but is too tall to fit in the back of my supra so if anyone needs a camerawoman let us know

  22. Cheers Chris - will make a note, even though getting to bluewater and finding supras in the car park shouldnt be a major problem
  23. cool ! Im sure once we get to various destinations people will tag along as the temptation of being part of a 20+ strong supra convoy will be too great Anyone taking a camcoder ?
  24. so only 22 ? we need to set a target of 30 ! im sure others dont visit this site as often so may add names nearer the date - how about some cheap flyers we can stick on supra windows if we see any parked up ? this would also be a good way of introducing the BBS

    RLTC Query

Thats great advice guys - think im just gonna turn off the stock TC on ignition instead of pulling the trac fuse & bulb - im getting used to this process anyway as part of the startup sequence and if I forget my GF presses the button for me Termy - you comin to the supra gumball ? I owe you a beer or three
