  1. lol ok how deep is it ? obviously as wide as the car but how far back does it go ? I love online vehicle diagnostics soooo much fun
  2. Scooter you are very welcome to the undertray if it is surplus to my needs, however I am pretty sure this will not need removing for my veilside nose. Now then, all the above in the assumption that the undertray we are talking about is one of the same,by the sounds of it with what SG is saying there may be a larger UNDERTRAY which goes below the main part of the engine, what we are talking about here is the "UNDERLIP" which is a narrower type of tray which attaches to the active spoiler. Am I making sense or just talking b()ll()(X
  3. Lol - will you bloody stop remindin me of them gorgeous defis ! this is a temporary measure until after xmas Defis are defo coming ! With my new job role I get to travel to Japan, china and the states so I will be doing quite a lot of shopping there so thats another reason I am waiting.OK OK im a tight git and want to save a few quid - just answer the dam question :upside:
  4. Are these any good as boost gauges ? In terms of accuracy ? I can get one quite cheap(£50) thoughts please ?
  5. Thanks people - Livvy I take it you need th ECU to be able to reinstall the active spoiler onto another vehicle. Ben - no worries mate you have first refusal after I figure out how much they are worth - I know if you go to toyoto you pay £1000 for a brand new unit but dont worry I would never charge anything near that ! I want to get this right and remove all the correct bits so you(or whoever buys it) has a hassle free installation. I thin SG has had hers removed recently but not sure is this was a complete removal or a partial removal of the lip itself
  6. Hello getting bodykit put on very shortly wouldnt mind removing active spoiler. So I can sell this on and have all the bits together can someone advise what I actually have to remove ? I presume there is some kind of motor in there too ? and obviously the spoiler itself. Anything else ?

    Hello All

12K should buy you a lowish milage 6 speed manual grade 4+ Imports are restricted but when you get them converted any good importer should be derestricting these as part of the process very easy procedure. As for modding - most people start with decatting almost all the jap cars I saw when buying where already Zorsted up and aftermarket airfiltered - and upping the boost a tad to start with, makes a big difference in performance -after that people tend to tune tailored to there needs and preferences there are so many different options. OH yeah - "RLTC" too - arguably the best mod you can get for your supra ! Gets the power down and keeps ure P&J on the road

    Hello All

All these ford boys seeing the light hey ? Test drive both of them before you make a decision, even j-spec 6 speeders are quite rare and to get a decent one takes time - took me 6 month to find mine Always good to have auction grade information - this is the bible when it comes to purchasing direct from japan - it gives you accurate rundown of ,bodywork, interior milage etc....IMO full service history is a must and if you get one from Japan from a decent importer then it should have that stuff 9mine did Have a look at this thread - it gives you more details on auction grades and stuff. Get down to one of the meets and have a chat to some owners and so they can share some experiences.Have a look around the cars etc... oh yeah Welcome to the board mate BTW

    What if .....

Oh ok ! Cool ! Thanks Uncle bling (I have to treat anyone who is 40 years older than me with respect so I will call you uncle from now on - hope that is ok )
  10. nice car - I prefer the stock spoiler though.

    Window Frozen

My dad used to heat his key up with a lighter and then when he stuck it in the key hole it would melt any ice which had collected on the mechanism. I think having a keyless entry system on your alarm is the easiest option
  12. Top stuff Randy Crap Driver or talking crap about his HP figures.

    Glow Gauges

LMAO :D I have been looking into gauges since I am in the market for purchasing some too - the glo gauges you are referring to - are you talking about indiglo gauges ? General consensus is the electronic ones seem to be more accurate but more expensive, some of the cheaper gauges (for around £30) I have been to see seem to have poor backlights or poor construction.IMO the blitz direct guages look nice (mech) and have a nice finish/feel to them. They are accurate aswell - reading some older threads on the board.

    What if .....

Thanks Wilson - where would I be without ya dude ?
  15. .....I buy a 2nd hand boost gauge and it has everything apart from the boost hose - is it hard to get hold of these + connectors to plumb it in or is it easy ?
  16. When does fuel cut kick in then ? I read somewhere its 1.5bar ? So is there any need to get an FCD for your set-up neil if you are hitting 1.1 - 1.2 bar ?
  17. look on the bright side - at least you dont have to pay the 4k you originally got quoted. Also I would check these guys out - they are in east london and are dam cheap - a few of my mates of got blocks of them at very reasonable prices - I think it would be a better idea . http://www.khitaicars.com/home.htm
  18. I would try the turtle wax treatment first dude - this should remove most of your yellowness,if this fails then try and bake em.
  19. Cheers Steve - thats tops.Nice 1
  20. - this ties in with the nature of the cut - it only seems to happen when its quite cold and really only started happening in November - never ever happened in the summer. outatime - cheers mate will get a boost gauge asap Wilson thats great - I now know what to look for !
  21. Gonna get FCD & boost gauge as a bare minimum to start with, maybe this will resolve the problem - if not anyone know what else this maybe ?
  22. Thorin I posted up on this thread and generally most people agreed it was fuel cut - but this occurs 15-16 psi ? if my car is stock surely I would be running much less boost ???im totally confused now look here for other post regarding this
  23. OK - so how do I find out if there is a bleed valve fitted ? where would it be and what would it look like ? Generally consensus was that this is stock fuel cut. What else could it be ?
  24. dude my car is stock just standard apart from zorst & airfilter
