LMAO ! I bet CJ's in bed right now sweating under the covers in the fetal (SP?) position imaging how he is gonna be feeling once he gets the pedal to the metal tommorow.

    At last!!!

Nic one CJ keep us posted - look forward to your "my drive home" post after you pick her up
  4. In any media product its important to tailor both the classified and the editorial towards the readership,as such its important to keep you readership onside and show them what they want to see and hear - this way your reader remains faithfull and enjoys picking up your magazine. Im sure you can all deduce the reason for the fiesta beating the supra in such a magazine if you follow the theory above. This pretty much ties in with what Roy said.
  5. I would bond it back up with some flexible adhesive until I get a new one - not worth risking even the drive down the local motor factor IMO
  6. As for the bumper - I took 2 months deciding which one to go for, after going to various meets I decided on the Veilside(the one which I wanted even before I bought my supra ! lol) well I would advise to see ALL of them in the flash before you make a decision - I was dead set on the bomex until I saw it for real - wow ! what a difference. Just dont rush into it. Also have you got plans to upgrade to a TT ? If you do it may be more economical to a while for the bodkit and put it on a TT - now im starting to sound like my dad ! (gets coat)
  7. B&Q do tons of different grills dude - just make sure you go for variety that is rust proof. Halfrauds do a similiar grill but a lot more expensive, you get less grill and the only difference is its packaged in a nice ripspeed cardboard container

    Hello All

lmao @ 280 bhp - we know this has been proven incorrect both on dyno and the fact that in japan they said they would not produce any vehicle in exess of 280 bhp so thats what they wrote on the paperwork. There is one thing which is good about the uk spec though - the cheaper insurance - this is down to 2 factors 1) Slower car = less dangerous. 2) Less desirable than j_spec = less stealable 550 injectors ? ok the principle behind this is as follows : Hippo has bigger veins to pump blood into his fat buggered slow ass heart.UK car Cheetah has thinner veins to pump blood into its highly tuned sporty heart.J_spec
  9. yep thats what I thought - just meshitup
  10. Have a look at this thread for lots of black bomex pics. Potentially the group buy can still go ahead as long as there is still enough interest - only need 4 people. I mulled over all your ideas and finally decided that out of all the noses the veilside still looks the best.I was very very close to getting the bomex but decided there was far too much going on at the front for it to look any good - it also seemed not to go with the lines ot the car aswell as some others. YES veilside is common amongst supras BUT : how many supras do you see on the road ? Out of these supras how many are black ? Out of these supras how many are veilside ? Not many hey ? Yes in the supra community it may be common at meets etc but looking at the bigger pictures its still a head turner and still looks the dogs dagly bits IMO. Which kit gives you the biggest road presence ? Veilside again IMO. Of course each to there own.:flame Dev

    Hello All

It could be a grade 4.5 6 months ago and been warped up since being in the uk,I think its best to get it on a ramp and get it looked at properly....for that price I think it may need some tidying up cosmetically or mechanically, also take someone who knows there supes to have a butchers. I agree with Steve - cossies dont have enough power for your pounds.Would rather spend my cash on a supe anyday
  12. If everyone who got a ticket did this the system would buckle and we could screw the whole speed ticket thing !
  13. Thanks Pilot - hmmm the new ones look like they have seperated the brain from the display which is a good thing as it gives more mounting options - how much are these about £130 ? You thrashed the feck out of yours already dude ? he he I think I will have arms like gorrillas after you lot have finished with me. Since we are doing exhibitions we will have a lot of gear with us already so chances are I will be able to blag some bits in the exhibition stand boxes etc...i'll let ya know after the first "recky run" I will of course undercut Paul E just to increase his blood pressure
  14. lol - scooter dude looks like you need a new front bit under tray - now try and explain this one one in the for sale/wanted section !
  15. Anyone know where my mate can get this from to install his S6 ? Matt H are you there ?
  16. Its gonna be mainly shanghai and Beijing.Must admit the food leeks nasty, must remember not to eat it all off my plate. As for the boost gauge im sure I can do this matey no worries:thumbs: Might start flogging these on ebay etc too - I feel guilty selling stuff for profit to BBS members but ebays OK for that kinda thing:p
  17. Cheers steve I will be happy to bring back a few small bits for members no worries I think I may be going as regularly as 4-5 times a year
  18. Cheers Jezza, thing is I remember when my car got serviced the mech said he took the undertray off to get to the oil filter and I saw him putting it back on I take it this is the middle undertry and the front undertry is a different one ?

Same as Matt really - Wet when its raining. When its moist:eek: or a little damp I tend to switch it over to Dry. Most of the time I drive on 10% had it on 20% a few times but after some pant browning moments I thought it would be safer to leave it on 10.I will venture into 20% terrotory again when its warmer and I am more confident in my abilities at WOT.Maybe after I have done a track day
