  1. Great looking supra, the stance looks great
  2. Just to add, this is an absolutely superb day and there’s lots to see. Well worth the money! Last year was a baking hot day and it’s a relaxed environment. I’d never been before, but after going last year for the first time I’ll defiantly try to get to the show every year. Mark is it ok to park my GT86 on out stand then? If so, I might buy another ticket.
  3. I must say it started pretty well, I enjoyed the track battle with the Lexus vs Honda and the effects that went with it. But then it went downhill for me, which is a shame because it looked promising.
  4. Maybe it’s a slightly different system then, even when I’m on a spirited drive I see no less than 27mpg.
  5. I only had it on cruise control because I felt rough from a previous nights drinking
  6. Yeah to be fair my journey to work is all country rounds, don’t sit in any standstill traffic at all.
  7. Cheers mate, still early days yet. It no where near how I want it to be! To be fair the MPG is good thanks to Toyota D4-S injection, on my daily commute which is 14 miles each way I get 38-40mpg. The best MPG I’ve done was 50.5 MPG on a 132 mile drive to Norfolk. That was with cruise control set at 70-75mph the whole way though.
  8. Modifying cars is in my blood, there’s always something that can be made better. Yeah if sliding the back end of a car out at 20mph is your thing then the stock tyres are great. But when you want to push on round the twisters the stock tyres aren’t great IMO. In stock form the GT86 is on par, if not a touch quicker than an N/A supra. I beat a N/A supra at Suprapod back in October, although it was close. I’d defiantly recommend for anyone to have a test drive of the GT86 they are superb!
  9. They are great fun, it’s a real drivers car. Don’t get me wrong it has it flaws as do most cars, but if you do your research you can pick up clean, well looked after examples for good money. It’s worth investing in some decent rubber as the stock cars come with Toyota Prius tyres and they are crap. I’ll be looking to fit the Tuning Developments N/A package which adds around 20bhp/30lbft in the midrange and this can be done for circa £1500 fitted.
  10. I absolutely adore my GT86, I personally don’t think it needs more power and people who say it does clearly don’t understand what the car is about. That doesn’t mean that I don’t have plans for upgrades/modifications because I do. I’ve already fitted a Cobra resonated exhaust and Cobra secondary decat. The chassis in the GT86 is spot on, as is the driving position. I enjoy driving it every time I get into the car!
  11. For some reason this tickled me

Awesome Lee! Will you do an open day when it’s up and running?
  13. Doubt it, think it may be called off until left month.
  14. Probably £6000 with the current prices, It may have only seen 220bhp. But it’s also done 220,000 KM. Will be interesting to see what it sells for!
  15. That’s overpriced at £8300 as it is I’d say, especially with the condition of the bodywork. Also being as it’s an auction on eBay the majority of the bids will be from time wasters.
  16. Just wish they would bring back the Thursday! Will be interesting to hear how things go at the reps meeting in March.
  17. Very nice! Great spec too I bet that’s a hoot to drive! Good luck with the sale.
