  1. We need to get one of these, would be interested to see the results. Have you done a 0-60mph run Karl?
  2. After a pair of front arch liners, must be good condition. What have you got?
  3. The fact you’re asking questions means you want to buy it
  4. Evening all, a very long time since this thread has been updated. Not a lot has changed with the car to be fair and only gets used between April-November being honest with you. With the car season now approaching fast we got the car booked into SRD for its annual health check up and a couple of minor issues such as a suspected coolant leak. Whilst the car was there we asked Lee to put it on SRD’s new dyno for a power run. Pleased to report back that the car is healthy, no coolant leaks and she’s made a very healthy figure on the dyno. See below for results. I’ll try to keep this thread more update as and when things happen. Pleased to report that the supra made 712rwhp 853bhp (Flywheel estimate) At 1.9bar on Shell V Power. Not bad for an auto!
  5. Can only echo what has been said, we also run the 6466 1.00 A/R with 264 cams, twin Walbro 485 pumps, ASNU 1500cc injectors which made 654rwhp on pump fuel (99RON) and 708rwhp on E70. This is a fairly stock engine with only ARP hardware throughout and Clevite bearings with a set of 264 cams. The rest is stock, although has been refreshed/rebuilt a few years back. The 6466 is a quick spoiling turbo and will be ideal for your needs with plenty of headroom in the future if need be.
  6. We have it mapped on the Syvecs ECU, but only tried it once on our Precision 6466. It’s no good for the turbo at all and I’ve heard of a few Precision turbos failing due to antilag.
  7. Love it....proper bad boy brakes!
  8. I disagree, BMW M140i is a good example, same engine as the new supra (B58). They can be picked up now for £20,000, Fit a JB4 plug and play tuning box which costs £200-£400 and you have a 420+bhp car which is M3/M4 territory. Im holding judgement until the new supra is released.
  9. If it’s the B58 engine then it’s easily tuneable with just bolt on mods, BMW claim 340hp stock but they seem to make more on a rolling road circa 350-360hp.
  10. I can imagine we will sell eventually, but not just yet. The time will come where she has to go! Will be a sad day.
  11. That was a good spec car that one, single turbo auto. Might have been the development car for the SRD 8spd auto, such a shame to see it in that state.

    Look like Rota’s to me.
  13. We’ve all said Mike is a great guy, he’s very knowledgeable in what he does.
  14. We run a Stage 3 SRD built auto that can cope, remember though it’s torque and heat that kills autoboxes not outright power. We make around 750bhp/600+lbft on full kill mode and the box has been fine for over a year. But we don’t drive it hard all the time, maybe work contacting Lee at SRD for further details.
  15. We had a similar issue a few years back, would missfire on 1.8bar at 5krpm. Turns out the Whifbitz coil packs we had that were fairly new wasn’t up to the job. I’d advice always replacing coil packs with new OEM ones.
  16. Kevin and Jamie were both big power manuals (circa 1000bhp) Robbie had a Boostlogic Auto with 3800rpm hi stall. Not sure on Robbie power figure but I’d guess around 700bhp as the Boostlogic box can’t take much more as we found out on the hub dyno.
  17. Interesting Gary, why you think it’s not as good of an idea?
  18. £800-£1000. Always have been an expensive wheel, but for good reason though.
  19. I just think it’s too late now, we are talking a matter of weeks before JAE. A lot of people either won’t have the money or already have commitments for that weekend. It’s just one of those things I guess, not a lot can be done now. That’s just my opinion though.
  20. To be fair Al, I’m not even sure we are 100% going due to lack of interest. I cant imagine many more people jumping onboard now. Shame really as we love JAE, but the people make the event in my opinion.
  21. As Mike says, just one of those things. We went through a phase of blowing intercooler pipes off. Although it was linked to a boost solenoid issue and the Syvecs ECU hitting the 2bar boost cut which was blowing the intercooler pipe off. Just put it back on and tighten it up again
  22. The whole engine bay looks BMW all over IMO.
