I think they changed the cam cover gasket last time im not 100% on that, But they rubber gasket they took out was all hard and brittle so was due a change. Ill second that Graham1984 i think dude's supra is one of the best around! Good job

I didnt fill it up with oil - one of Paul W mechanics did lol. Its going back into Whifbitz on Monday evening so hopefully they will find the leak fingers crossed.

My dad brought our supra thinking it had a mines ecu fitted to it - but then we later found out that the previous owner sold the mines ecu a couple of weeks before we brought it but still left the advert with the mines ecu listed on it.

Maybe i heard wrong then, I dont know alot about the ecu im just telling you from what ive heard from other people. My dad has a HKS FCD fitted to the supra so doesnt that remove the limiter?

Ive been told that the Mines ecu isnt the best. Im not saying my dads defo doing it just wanted to get a clearer view on how it works and so on.

Thanks for the info stevie_b its much appreciated - I just wanted to know what it is and if its worth doing, I think i see them do it on wheeler dealers on a subaru sti and it added an extra 30bhp and told the ecu to make better use of the british fuel. I think that was a re-map that they done anyways lol.

How much is a decent ecu? I know them syvecs ecu or whatever they are called are one of the best but the like £1000+ which is money my dad cant afford to spend and we are only keeping it bpu so dont need one like that.

How much is 446bhp at the fly? Is it about 400+bhp at the wheels?

In my opinion it only suits jap cars, chavs that do it to there fiesta's are just sad. -

My dads supra is BPU so running at 1.2 bar about 400bhp estimate, We arent planning going single. Just wanted to know if there was any difference

Just a quick question, What has to be done to change the J-spec stock 440 injectors to bigger 550 Uk injectors? Is it just a straight swap or is it alot of work and money?

Coil pack clips are a bugger, They just fall apart as soon as you touch them lol. Also another thing to be careful with is the two black hoses they are so hard to get off but just be patient and they will come off eventually. Just use some molegrips or something to grip onto the hoses

There was a Supra TT for sale in Maldon not that long ago for £5500, It was on Gumtree so you could have a look on there mate
