  1. Im unaware of a diff change. What am I looking for on the speed converter? - - - Updated - - - Oh and the odo is in KM, the speedo is in mph now.
  2. Hi all, I had my doubts but after extensive tests my import is clocking up more miles than it's actually doing. So much so that after 100 miles, it's doing 15 more according to the car. The speedo is also out by about 7mph. I'm running 17" BBS RS but I don't think it's down to that so much. All suggestions are welcome on how to solve this ASAP. Thanks
  3. Hi all, Im getting a lot of banging from the back of the car when I either accelerate or lift off. Possibly diff mounts? After speaking with JM this seems the likely cause (albeit I haven't had chance to check myself yet). So to what id like to know, firstly, the order in the process of getting access to them and secondly, where to find replacements bushes for the subframe and ear mounts. All help is greatly appreciated
  4. Yeah that was us mate. Car sounded good when you left, screamer is loud!
  5. Cool, what adjustments (if any) would be required to make it fit onto a N/A-T build?
  6. Would anybody know the if there's a difference between a N/A one and a TT one? Thank all
  7. Hi all, Is there anybody here that has removed a toad alarm system at all? If so, is it straight forward or is it linked up to the ECU? Is there any particular procedure or anybody who can be recommended? Thanks all

    Wind deflectors

So long as my iPhone lets me add a couple of pics, I'll take a couple tomorrow and post them. There is no difference at all between the new one and the old one that is still on the passenger side. More importantly, they have 'Toyota' engraved in them. Same as the old ones

    Wind deflectors

Not a problem, They are fine at high speed. Believe me, there's no getting them off!

    Wind deflectors

They do help a bit. But in this cold weather, I haven't had the window down fully yet! lol On the back is a very sticky adhesive. You should clean the body at where they attach thoroughly so it's clean and free of little bits of rubbish and dust etc.. On the adhesive there is a white tale that peels off. Instructions do come with the deflectors albeit in Japanese. But it's not hard to work out from the pictures. It had taken me about 20 mins to clean and then stick on. BE AWARE, you have only ONE shot at getting them in the right place as once the adhesive has taken, there's no getting it off!
  11. This seems to be popping up so, thanks to balloo a while back and and me just digging through old messages. Below is the current lot number on eBay for a set of wind deflectors. The seller also has link to a toyota web page. I used this seller and had good communication with me. The deflectors were here in 3 weeks. Well packaged and exactly what I wanted. Lot number: 360845697989 Sells is zeroism702

    Chrome alloys

Nice one thanks. Yeah they are defo chrome. It looks to me that the Salk on the roads here as stripped the natural cover of the chrome and it's reacted. Ideally I'd like them looking like new again. What are the names (if you remember) of the places that do this?

    Chrome alloys

Above is the chrome dish of my BBS alloy. All 4 are the same and I'm wondering what's the best way I restoring it to it's original clean finish. No amount of metal cleaner works! Thanks all
