Well, as far as oil tasting goes, it's Gota small kick to it :/ thus telling me it's gearbox. What next? It appears it's coming from the joins still. Seals blown?

Lol!! cant say ive done that. should it not be the gearbox, what else could it be? Ive checked the dipstick regularly and the engine oil is still saying just off full. A mystery...

I cleaned the underside so I could see where it was coming from. Defo seems to be the joins but I'll check the prop too

As per the title. I've done some checking around and it seem the joins are seeping oil. I have pics.. You can see the join. That's to the rest of the tunnel. By the sump plug^ The front under bell housing ^ After the car had been running, the oil collecting ^ The join just past the sump plug ^ All the bolts are tight, but the underside of my car is covered. What do we think? Thanks all

Hi all This is mainly for those who are in the peterborough area, The Collyweston Slater pub is having a bit of an open day in their car park between 1000-1600 on the bank holiday Monday (4th May).All cars and bikes are welcome throughout those hours so if you don't have anything really much planned, it's worth a look. Hi all. Just to be clear, it's NOT FOR SALE! lol but I am wondering how much it would be worth should I ever consider selling. A few facts, It's an import. Brought over by JM in 2013 for me. Only one Japanese owner previous. It's on 91000 kilometres (which is around 59000 miles) Aside from the exhaust which I'm fitting soon (whifbitz 3" cat back), the BBS RS Alloys and the coilovers, it's standard. It was auto TT but has since been converted to a 6 speed with a V160 installed (conversion also JM Imports) It's a 1996 facelift too Now for the pics... Cheers all

Hi all. Just want to clarify, if I run a single box exhaust setup on my TT, I don't need the restrictor ring fitted do I? I've read conflicting things on it. Thanks

I've got an A02B fitted that's on my facelift TT. It was an auto but now is a TT6. Will the A03B be a striaght swap?

IMO, the GT86 has filled the market that the Celica had left and IF The FT-one is built (in whatever guise it's released in), it will in turn fill the gap left by the Supra. Yes, are a few throw backs but it looks like Toyota are letting their epic cars become legend and moving in a new direction (something Nissan haven't necessarily done R32,R33 etc). So does it deserve Supra badge? I'd say no. How can they possibly top the MkIV?

After a definitive test, the speedo is out in all gears. When the dash says 30, GPS says 26. At 40 I'm doing 33 and at 50 I'm doing 41 etc..

what difference would there be from auto to manual conversion using the auto prop and ECU still? my O/D light flashes every 2 seconds too. Im sure though the odo and speedo have been off since day 1 when I got it as an auto. The car is also de-restricted..

im reading up on all now but, After collecting from JM, Jurgen assured me the car has been converted to Miles from KM. Im not familiar with the process but if the speedo is wrong, wouldn't the odo be as well? I lined myself up against an artic of which I know was doing 55mph. My speedo was reading 64/65 mph. As an artic driver I know this to be incorrect. Tonight after paying close attention to both, it appears to be in neither miles or KM but more in between the 2.
