Morning gents, Got a quick oilpump related question. My whole NA-T build has just been completed. Fitted a GTE oil pump on my motor along with some minor updates on the head. Problem ; Oil filter pops off a few seconds after start up, oil all over the bay, no blockages in the oil channels. Tried different filters but same problem occurs. Question ; Do you guys know if the spring of the pressure relieve valve in a NA oilpump has the same strenght as the ones in the TT oilpump? Share your thoughts please !

I liked the TTC mod, was a bit louder once you boosted Lag wasn't that bad , spooled up around 3500. Can imagine with an auto box it would be horrible, if you have a manual it's well worth the try imo... www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZMLFPzHP-vc

Hi Guys, Thought it would be nice to re-introduce... Have been active (a bit) a couple of years ago. Marcel, 27 years old from the Netherlands. Been a Supra fan for quite some years now Bought a silver 1993 MkIV N/A 5spd in 2010 , swapped a 2JZ GTE VVT-i in it. Had to sell it in January this year because I bought a house and needed some money. Replaced it with a Lexus IS200 which is allready gone now... Currently owning a complete stock red 1996 MkIV N/A Automatic with only 45k kilometers on it. Car looks and drives great. Missing the power of the VVT-i though This car will be a project car. Single Turbo / R154 etc etc... Some pics!

Since a few days a have a loud rattling sound when idling in neutral. Once I rev the engine the volume decreases. ( doesnt disappear ) If I push the clutch pedal the sound totally disappears. When driving the car I cant hear any strange noises , not even when I go full throttle Have a W58 with a Stage 4 F1 racing clutch (6puck) fitted on a 2JZ GTE VVT-i. Driven 4k kilometers with it so far. Your feedback is appreciated

Hi Guys, Who of you is planning to go to the Nitrolympx in Hockenheim? ( 3 day drag racing event of the FIA ) Perhaps a combination for a run on the Nurburgring can be made for guys from the UK ? 4 is not that noisy, correct... What could it be ?

Same problem here since last weekend... Motor went out for an oil pump change, since everything has been mounted back together there seems to be a " singing " sound which is most noticeable in 5th gear. Shifts fine , no problem with that...

Think it has more to do with how you use these w58's... Like James mentioned he is driving it for a while now, I'm , a couple of friends of my are running it as well, no problems there! Hard pulls & crazy shifts will most likely kill it...

Got exactly the same problem atm... Idling gives no problem, only after a short trip ( boosting 2 times ) the plate under my sump is wet of oil! Just replaced front crank seal ( done by mechanic ) , starting to think it is a worn oil pump...

I've done +- 3k KM on it since my swap ( GTE VVTi ) with an F1 stage 4 clutch... Doing good so far! Dont abuse it and you'll be fine

Hi Guys, Some of you might have heard from this event, some of you haven't... This year JAF will take place at the TT Circuit in Assen. More info about the event can be found here : http://www.japanseautosportfestival.nl We ( Supra MkIV club Netherlands ) are gathering as much supras as possible for this event ( 20 year anniversary of the MkIV ). Current number is around 30 MkIVs and a few MKIIIs… I’ve arranged a proper spot on the paddock for our club. Organization is aware of the anniversary. Some of us are staying at a camping near Assen on Sunday  Monday ( 9eu per person per night ) Tickets can be arranged via me : € 12,- per person and the car is free ! Let me know !
