  1. No im not trolling, the fuel gauge has four quarters, except instead of the markings going E-1/4-1/2-3/4-F like in most cars I have had (except ones with digital readouts) the markings seem to go E-1/6-1/2-5/6-F. Am I supposed to be reading the four quarters as actual quarters or as they appear? Thank you.
  2. Sorry its a late '94 auto, ill try and get some more pics up before the sun goes down, its the car from this thread http://mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?267952-4k-UK-Auto-on-pistonheads
  3. Well finally took ownership of my very own Supra today http://img52.imageshack.us/img52/3041/img0656ylp.th.jpg Was a lovely drive home in the sun, very happy
  4. Its like a turbo timer for your headlights iirc http://minkara.carview.co.jp/userid/168891/car/60421/2145837/parts.aspx Edit: perhaps not
  5. So the production model wont be as fast as the one from the film then?
  6. Another vote for BT Business here, their customer service is my better than normal BT imo and the connection and stuff are good.
  7. They have said that the new Supra/MR2 prototypes going into production depends on how well received the GT-86 is though so fingers crossed
  8. http://margaret.thatcher.swellserver.com/news/top_stories/auto80.php lol, hats a pretty cool site for making these.
  9. Well it usually goes from customs to Parcelforce, their part of royal mail.
  10. Parcelforce will contact you don't worry. Basically the thing you bought is subject to VAT/duty and you will have to pay this to get it released, Parcelforce (Royal Mail) will pay the customs charges and take it to their depot from where you can either collect it or arrange delivery (you will have to pay them for the customs charges they have paid ofc and they will prob have a small handling fee)
  11. I get mine from http://www.itailor.com/designshirts.php?product=Suit Custom made suits to your door.

Currently waiting on the Motorola Droid RAZR MAXX (could they have picked a longer name?) to replace my 3GS, comes out in a week or so *excited*
  13. I believe the is other life out there if only because the odds are in favour of it. Nowhere in the bible does it say god didn't create worlds before/after earth (or that Jesus was not a velociraptor but thats another discussion point) and lets face it the bible is a what ~3000 year old book thats been translated/interpreted (not the same thing) dozens of times over the years, who know what it was meant to say. Hell if an atomic war ever kicks off imagine what the survivors millennia from now will make of the sacred Harry Potter texts rofl.
  14. Worth noting that a Kg of LPG is 1.985 litres, so its going up 2.9p a litre which is basically on par with petrol/diesel
  15. The front lip on my LS400 has been gradually getting smashed off by the local speed cushions/bumps for months , because the front of the car is so far forward of the wheels it doesn't get time for them to lift it before the lip hits the bump/cushion (this is stock suspension levels on a non performance car too )
  16. If it is I would worry a lot about the quality. Its pretty safe to say that's each, well unless its a lot cheaper to rebuild 2JZ twins than it is 1JZ twins.
  17. You can get three versions of the A70 with a 1JZ as standard you know, their pretty fun.
  18. You should really have had it inspected yourself first dude in case anything important has been damaged.
  19. I bought an LPG converted LS400 as a winter run around last year, Lexus comfort/toys, Toyota reliability/quality, 260bhp 4L V8, and over 300 miles to £40 (that would be cost equivalent to nearly 48mpg petrol or nearly 50mpg diesel)
  20. I think Banner had control the second time because he was the one who had instigated the change, as opposed to it happening because he lost control. Just a guess tho. I really liked the film and it was cool to see stuff like the CA/Thor Hammer/Shield moment and the Hulk almost going through the floor trying to lift the hammer, would have been nice to see CA pick up the hammer at some point and just go on a wrecking spree with it and his shield lol but you can't have everything .
  21. Also if you have a newer photocard style licence its unlikely you will be allowed to tow such a trailer without doing an additional test category.
  22. Hehe, my dad has to do this pretty much all the time in his Cessna because sidewinds affect smaller planes more, their not really coming in sideways their coming in straight but the planes at an angle, its kinda like drifting for planes, really fun
  23. Try blowing as hard as you can through a straw, now cover the end with you finger and do it again, can't do it as well can you (if at all) thats because it's harder work. Without a BOV to let the air escape or recirc then when the throttle closes and the pressure builds up it gets to the point where the compressor just cannot get any more in (unless a hose gives out or something) this isn't good as the exhaust turbine is trying to turn the shaft and the air on the compressor side is offering resistance, making it work harder.
  24. Correct me if im wrong here but is the car running with no air filtration at all? I really like the look of the engine bay and all but I can't help thinking it a tad cheating to get higher dyno figures by doing something thats going to effect the health of the turbos/intercooler/engine like that.
  25. Yeah, helping them to feed themselves is a lot better than just giving them food and stuff. Build a man a fire and he will be warm for a while, Set a man on fire and he will be warm for the rest of his life (or at least I think that's right)
