  1. mine went underneath. it just seem the obvious way to do it and much cleaner looking
  2. Too right. They could have fixed it easily. All for the sake of a couple of minutes work. Next time find a better tester.
  3. under no circumstances should you push the middle button. Bad things will happen:D
  4. Fantastic car. Not worth anyway near as much as it should be.
  5. I cant decide which is the funnier 1 Where is my boot thread? 2 Whats the red button for?
  6. Wow the Red Button. We haven't had mention of that for ages.
  7. Hi Josh. No problem, send me your email address
  8. I do have a pdf write up that I did after my conversion. I thought it might be useful for others going the same route with the XS Power kit, but I dont know how to post it here. If you want it, send me your email address and I can send it to you that way.
  9. The dizzy cap that I used came from a pre1992 4Runner. This is the one with all flush lead fittings. I did consider using a 4-3 reducer, but that would be a step backwards
  10. I did use different leads with the 4 runner dizzy cap. I had Magnecour make me a nice beefy set and they look great. Not sure about the rotor cap, but I don't think it was swapped. Can't remember the year for the cap, i'll have a look when I get home.
  11. I had the same problem with the 4 runner dizzy cap. What I have learnt though is that there are two types. One has the central coil connection fitting conventionally as yours does, but there is another from a different year of 4 runner that has the central connection mounted flat like the rest of them. This is the one that you need. It is still a tight fit but it does give just enough clearance.
  12. The figure of 220HP is when new. Any 20 year old motor is going to have lost quite a few of its horses by now.

    Hey

I know that UK cars are cheaper to insure but sub £1000 for a 19 year old ?
  14. I drive passed this most days. I would like to say that it looks better in real life, but alas it does not!
  15. I love a good show car and this is as good as it gets.
  16. I use an AEM piggy backed ecu on my NA-T and that runs sweet. Don't underestimate the cost of doing a nice conversion. I used a lot of XS Power kit and the price still came in at over £3k by the time it was all finished. Money well spent though.
