The fitting engineers dropped the subframe to remove mine. They didn't find it too bad. Not sure about the drill size though. I have heard of some cowboys drilling the oil pan in situ. This is a VERY bad idea!

Had similar problems in the past. Now use a trickle charger - problem sorted.

I'm hoping its just a failed ARB bush. It is only knocking on the bumps. Will take a proper look tomorrow and see if I can figure it.

I took the car out today for the first time in three weeks and noticed a nasty knocking noise from the nearside rear. It was fine when I put it in the garage last time. Any suggestions as to where I should start looking first? Please help

I bought an NA because it was immaculate and then went NA/T. Didn't save me any money though. I could have easily bought a TT for the same amount spent. On the plus side it has improved by mechanical knowledge.

Hi Guys The lacquer on the top of my spoiler is in a bit of a state. How should I go about rubbing it down and re-spraying? Is it something that I could do or am I better off taking it to the body shop?

Hi Guys My na/t produces good power but it still has its 2nd cat in. Will there be an increase in power if I take it out, and will it need re-mapping?

Am I right in thinking that a TT head gasket will improve the 10:1 compression ratio?

It looks like a tight fit to get past the dizzy cap. I had the same problem and had to use a 4-runner cap from a different year which has the coil connector offset too.
