  3. Bay that's some very interesting information you gave me there. I'm hesitating between the polished one like yours or some with machined center (like those on a big hp sliver UK Specs on this Forum I don't remember who's it is) You're configuration has wider tires on the front than mine ... on the rear hahah I like this
  4. Nice ! Some underside pics would clearly help the sel
  5. I texted directly CCW through their website… I'll wait a few more days. Would be soooo much easier to find one on here or through SRD tho
  6. I suppose/hope they work with special companies that are cheaper than the common shipping companies ? haha
  7. Ok thanks for you help guys. I would like in chrome polished or machined finished, not black. Still no reply from them now. Where did you guys buy your sets ?
  8. I have a Greddy inlet on my 2JZ-GTE VVTI. Stock Bottom end, stage 1 BC cams and 64mm single. Mike and Lee told me this inlet gives the same effect as a pair of cams… makes the engine breath better so. I'm currently @650BHP @1.3bar. The numbers were quite good from what Mike said, so there is definately a gain with the manifold (more power and quicker spool). I bought it less than 1k form Luxluc from what I remember.
  9. Yeah I know… I just asked CCW in Australia what would be the final costs… MP what are your wheels specs ? (You car is on their website, congrats Do you have cutted/rolled fenders ? Mine are cutted rolled, I'm running 18x9.5 et12 all around, 235/40 at fornt, 255/35 at the rear. No rubbing at all and I'm running veeeery low too x)
  10. I already talked with them, they can't really help me... I m not in hurry though. Thanks guys =)
  11. I clearly see lower end prices for more "common" cars at auctions in Japan since the crisis. A good example is the Aristo from what I can see. Big jdm cars likes Supras,Skylines aren't affected at all tho.

    T56 magnum

The best box for our Supras nowadays to my taste, clutch options are becoming good too. I'll personnaly go for a stock tremec once money will be there ha.
  13. GE VVTI head GTE VVTI head This setup still have the GE VVTI Head right ?
  14. Mike, what would be the gain with a GTE VVTI head ?
  15. It was a pre-facelift TT6 Supra. The guy is now driving more than 3 years without any problem like this. Does your car still move (even a very little bit) if you put 1st gear and press the clutch pedal to the floor ? This could be a sign of a "non pushed enough" pressure plate...
  16. Great job Mike I really like to R&D you still make on 2JZ engines, that's what makes SRD the best place for me to go. Can't wait to take 2.0 bars on mine haha
  17. Yes, I personnaly had to fit a landcruiser main cylinder (bigger piston's Ø) and fabricate a piece to get the rigid piping correctly bolted on it. The stock main cylinder may not push enough your hydraulic release bearing, the clutch doesnt effect enough, you so struggle to get the gears in. You also have to get minimal gap between the release bearing and pressure plate...
  18. Could have an interest in the pistons, currently disassembling a GTE VVTI engine, I'm right thinking the pistons are the same or ?
  19. There are 2 types of purist… Stock purist and hardcore purist (single build etc, …)… The 2nd type will definately give more money for a T56 build than for a V160 build...
  20. The main question is : WHO BOUGHT THE TOOLING EQUIPMENTS ??? I personnal think the GETRAG 6 speeds isn't the best choice nowadays, the TREMEC looks (to my taste) like to be the best buy if I had to choice between these 2 gearboxes… The purist wouldn't agree, but prices won't be less for a Tremec Supra than for a Getrag Supra, maybe even the opposite ? Can't wait for Mike's (SRD) feedback to his Tremec swap.
  21. Drop me a pm with what you have for sale! Cheers!
  22. Please give us a link on here Stevie ?
