  1. Well, when people start offering €5k for a car worth £20k+ in parts alone, that's the world ending right there.
  2. Also the Gulf brake fluid 5.1 is brilliant too. I have it on mine with braided lines and full Chris Wilson pads, and it is working brilliantly.
  3. TT insurance is affordable at the moment. Mines a whooping £210 for the year. So if you want a tt, now's a good time to get one.
  4. Okay, will try that. Will it probably fix the car stalling? As i have put in new spark plugs, brand new coil pack connectors and a new battery. Am bpu by the way.
  5. Okay, update: Found the battery itself was not earthed, so I earthed that and my power steering started working. My battery terminal has one of those gizmos that displays battery voltage and mine is between 12 and 13 volts fluctuating. But the car now stalls once i am stationery and the flickering lights on the dashboard is still happening. Please help.
  6. Hi all, after my engine swap, i am having a couple of electrical problems. The first is that when i am driving, the lights on the dashboard with the oil cans on the right and the other lights on the left flickers on and off. When it does that, the engine tone changes and the car behaves as if it wants to stall, and sometimes actually stalls. Then when i stop the car and take the key out of the ignition, all the lights on the dashboard and all electrics still stay on until i open the driver 's door. That shouldn't be happening, so i will appreciate any help as i am not too clued up on electrics on the supra. Also the odometer lighting is too faint to read and becomes virtually impossible to see when i turn the headlights on.
  7. In rebuilding my car and transferring the engine from my old shell, I cut the aftermarket air horn wiring without taking proper note of where the wires go. And now, i can't fix it back. I need guidance on how to wire an aftermarket horn to the car. This is the one I have and I am now trying to rewire it. It is the only pic I have at the moment. Need the horn working to pass my MOT this coming week.
  8. If we stop selling our precious cars for £4k, then maybe less knobheads will have the funds to buy them. You dont see much chavs driving R34 GTRs, do you?
  9. Are you sure the OP is not the retard that wants to buy that car?
  10. Pics mate or you drive a Micra. Welcome though
  11. Didn't use a registration number. Indicated as import unmodified supra and they gave me the quote.
  12. When i tried tempcover.com, igot quoted £50 for a day for a jspec supra i was interested in.
  13. Holy moly thread resurrection. Pics after 4 years, a record. Nice car though
  14. Lovely to hear you still got the Supra. It is Summer time and you will enjoy it immensely.
  15. Problem ; Falling out of love with the Supra Solution ; Take it for a 1 hr blast. Resolve not to sell. Problem solved.
  16. Paul, thought the ridox spoiler is a direct replacement for the stock one and covers the stock spoiler holes? Want to do away with the stock spoiler in favor of the ridox.
  17. If you don't adjust the prop shaft, what happens? I took mine off when rust proofing my subframes and swapping my engine, and although i have put it back on the way i took it off, i didn't pay much mind to alignment anything. Yet to take it for a proper drive, as i am refurbing the brakes at the moment.
  18. Any news on the ridox spoilers, eh Paul? Been waiting a while.
  19. The gearbox looks like a 3d model, so spotless. Time to paint mine
  20. Hahahahaha, Matt i told you that you'll be back in one pretty soon, you didn't believe me. Anyway your car is now looking even lovelier than before. Few pics Before; Work In Progress : Will get the build thread up soonish.
  21. Thanks fellas. Will post up a build thread when done.
  22. I am going to be spraying my front bumper. It is still in gel coat, and I don't want the paint flaking anytime later. What is the best primer to use to spray the bumper before block sanding it. Anything I can get on Fleabay?
  23. When i was doing my suspension, i had to cut 2 of my rear arms off, they wouldn't shift for love or money. Best off getting an ultra thin disc for the angle grinder, or a new rear suspension Tried to leave them on before, but couldn't sleep at night knowing that these buggers had defeated me. Keron came through with replacements as usual. Final Outcome, Man Vs Suspension --- Man Wins [GRIN][/GRIN]
  24. I have one from Toyota just lying around as my car is an automatic
