  1. Am sure you will get more willing chaps if the bridesmaids sister can be thrown in, in lieu of payment. Will work out cheaper for you, and the girl will have a fabulous time
  2. Come on, it will only be 1 wedding crasher, + if no bridesmaids, then a bridesmaid sister will do quite nicely too.
  3. Thinking of putting my Advans up also, in rare 10j
  4. This is why i love this my supra forum family. Get help with everything under the sun.
  5. I travelled to Africa on assignment and couldn't finish paying for it, so the guy sold it to someone else. Was gutted to be honest.
  6. Damn that was quick, fastest i have ever heard of. Did they hop on the plane and bring it over themselves?
  7. Best to use overfenders. You can make it as stock looking or wild as you wish, but the sheer road presence of wild wheels will make other cars look like something from Benefits Street. Sold my Supra, but will never sell the wheels. Waiting for the right supra to come around. Ask Ibrar, a proper car is built around the wheels, and not vice versa.
  8. Fabulous cars. Welcome. What are you driving now? And why did you give up your Supra?
  9. I used to run mad ones 12.5 x 19 ET-12 (7 inch dish) on the rears and 10.5 x 18 ET - 5 on the front (Garson wheels, which are the extremely pricey versions of Professor SSR wheels). Go buck wild
  10. Are there any Canadians here amongst us? Need some urgent help with my canadian business. Won't take much of your time.
  11. It's not as hard as doing say a BMW or Mercedes. The major things you need are some tutorials already here on the forum, you will be best served by printing them out. (you have to find them first) They are: 1.How to do an NA to TT Engine swap 2. How to do a 6 speed gearbox conversion (for the gearbox part) 3. How to install twin blitz turbos 4. How to install a hks fcd (for the ecu parts) 5. How to change the heater matrix (how to remove the dash) Everything else is basic plug and replug. There are a few other tutorials that you may need as you go along, but nothing major. Take loads of pictures before disconnecting anything, or cutting any wire. Especially anything in the engine bay. You will regret it if you don't.
  12. Masking tape is your friend, seriously. Use it and label every damn wire, and every bag of screws and bolts, even if you think you know where it came from or that it is obvious, believe me, it ain't. I did mine and it wasn't funny spending time wondering if this is the right suspension bolt or not. And lots of little plastic bags, for each section's bolts, eg: engine bolts, diff bolts, front suspension bolts and screws, dashboard screws, turbo side screws, etc
  13. A single word is sufficient for the wise. You are a wise man.
  14. That Tamon kit is proper sick. Looking for what to do to my new supra kit wise, as i need a wide arch kit to fit my uber wide and dished wheels which are 12.5j at the rear. Where can i get that Tamon thingy?
  15. The brakes and discs came from me and it is my fault they look rusty as I am breaking the car out in the open and I left them out in the rain as I couldn't get everything done quickly, as I am doing the whole car breaking myself. I knew it was just surface rust and the pictures taken were recent, I can send them to you to check the date stamps, and the picture I posted of the Chris Wilson pads has his invoice on it with dates to show its recent. Sorry about leaving them out in the elements. You can pm me about it mate.
  16. The good ones are still expensive. And given that the supply from japan is now drying up, and lots are being crashed, the prices are actually going up, for TTs that is.
  17. How about mine: 275s on a 12.5j rim, uber stretched, sick innit :D

    MOT Fail

Find a friendly place. Although we enthusiasts generally keep our supras in tip top condition, i can get an MOT without the car even being present cos the guys can vouch for the immaculate condition of my supra and they hate thieving places that fail people on stupid things like a loose nut.
  19. My thoughts exactly. Tasteless show presented by tasteless people. Always doing dumb tasks instead of reviewing cars properly
  20. Does the facelifts have a boost gauge fitted as standard??
  21. Mine sold pretty quickly too, within a week. So the demand is still there.
