  1. do you have a boost gauge in the car ? or even the factory one? what does it show?
  2. i already have a kit intalled on the car..it is the ERL water methanol kit 1S ...but it is old and out of production for years now and cause my pump is dead i want to replace just the pump and i am looking something similar..i was thinking for an AEM but do not know if it is ok..i mean the specs
  3. hi guys what are the right specs(boost pressure) for a water methanol pump been installed on a bpu supra? i was told a pump that operates at around 150psi would be good...is tha true?
  4. thank you sir.you have been very helpful
  5. hi mates. i have a question and i need some help. i have the pressure switch for my water-methanol injection system. i tested the switch and it is always closed circuit(have volts on the meter). as soon as hits the pressure i have set to it the circuit opens(no volts)..the system also has a relay. is it possible that the relay's job is to reverse the function and when i have no volts on the meter it actually works on the car and make the pump work? i hope you understood what i am trying to say..thank you
  6. thx mate but how do i change the title?
  7. hi mates. i have a question and i need some help. i have the pressure switch for my water-methanol injection system. i tested the switch and it is always closed circuit(have volts on the meter). as soon as hits the pressure i have set to it the circuit opens(no volts)..the system also has a relay. is it possible that the relay's job is to reverse the function and when i have no volts on the meter it actually works on the car and make the pump work? i hope you understood what i am trying to say..thank you
  8. hi guys. the timing belt has been changed in 2007 but the car only did 25000 miles since then.do i have to change it again?
  9. hi guys i would like to know if the ac condenser from a land cruiser will fit on my supra.and if yes which model? thank you
  10. hi guys .sorry for posting this here but for some reason i can not post to the parts wanted section do not know why.so i am looking for a passenger side facelift headlight used. because i thin i can not afford a new one right now.just crashed my supra
  11. the oil that toyota is using now is ATF same as used at the automatic gearbox of a toyota AURIS...try MOTUL ( you can find it in the MOTUL catalogue ) and you will be fine.i am alreday using it (i am talking for a six speed getrag always)
  12. ok mate.i will try fix the hub looseness and see what happens.thank you very much for your replies.i will let you know in a few days.
  13. so now what do i have to do? first check again the discs and the bells if they are wrapped.then clean the car hub .what about the disc-bell looseness?how about yours?is the disc-bell loose when you take off the wheel?can you move them front and back while the caliper is still on tightened? what about the rings idea?
  14. i think at the machinery garage the technician put the bell also on the lahte and did some work in the inner diameter of the bell.maybe he skinned some material and that's why is now loose from the car hub. i was thinking of putting metal rings to hold the bell tight on the car hub.(just like the ones we put on the aftermarket rims). would that be safe and correct to fix my problem.will i have any problems with the rings considering the heat is being generated in these spots?
  15. the discs came new .i do not know if anybody ckecked them at the garage.(how do you check new discs?).and no i did not send them back because after installation they were used so i thought i can not send them back. yes the steering shakes massively only when i push the brakes and at speeds everything over 60
  16. the discs are not moving when the wheels are on.they are only moving when the wheels are off.yes the brembo set up is designed so that the bell moves a little between the bell and the disc.i was asking about movement between bell-disc and the car hub when the wheels are off. jagman..the last two garages i went they also told me that the discs needed skimming.so we took them off and took them to the lathe.since then the problem is getting worse.and the funny thing about that is that the discs were new when they told me that they need to be skinned. so now nobdy knows what is going on
  17. hi fellas..i removed the wheels today and noticed that my front brake discs are a bit loose.i could move them back and front.i am not talking beetween disc and bell looseness .the disc including the bell can move. the brakes are brembo gran turismo. is this normal? p.s for the last 6 months the steering wheel will shake massively when trying to brake at a speed of 60+. is this what causing it?
  18. nice to see you guys stick with this legend...very important for all of us that are supra addicted . good luck with the project
  19. thanks fellas for the replies...i will try these labels but i don't live in uk so i have to also worry about shipping...thanks again
  20. hi fellas ...can you please give some alternative labels for pads for the brembo gran turismo kit...i would like to replace them(brembo) but i don't know what to get the brakes are for street use and i would like something low dust.. thank you
  21. yes the brake pedal shakes a little bit but the steering wheel is way much more
  22. what do you mean the discs should be ground? no the steering wheel only shakes when braking cold or hot brakes.... yes i did some heavy braking a couple of times..not in a track but from 120 to 40 just to avoid accident
  23. another question please....lets say i have warped disc..are we talking about the front ones only or is it possible that i have a rear disc warped and makes the steering wheel to shake..i am asking just to avoid any more labouring if is only the front ones i will remove just them
