  1. ok thx tricky..you are the boss..i will let you know what happened with mine in a few days after i flow test my injectors..the tuner insists that a bpu supra running on 1.3 bar and lean can make this power..i told him that something is wrong with his dyno..lol..maybe i am not welcomed there anymore..we will see..plus here they tend to make all the cars running 11.5 -12 afr..no matter the mods..they say its quite safe..i saw your reply on another post saying that for bpu is normal to hit 10? so i am quite far from that..lol
  2. why bignum? i have them for 4 years now for street use only and they are quite good..any better suggestions? brembo were crap as hell..never again
  3. if you did not notice any overboosting or strange noises before that i think your injectors betrayed you..and usually the damage they cause is instant with no warning when they decide to fail..as far as the cost goes no idea..i live in a different country..lol
  4. i have the same breaks mate..these are brembo gran turismo..the codes on the pads simply mean that all these other supercars use them..no worries..order a set of EBC pads (red-great pads by the way with no dust coming out) and when you make the order make sure to order pads for F40-or F50.they are the same...all good
  5. so what's the outcome here? a stock ecu is better if you know how to remapped it or an aftermarket piggy bank will do the job?
  6. Pls let us know what happened when you find the problem..knowledge is power
  7. The conversation is getting more serious i think
  8. @tricky.. jdm bpu different city also a dynojet though boost problems so only 0.9 bar.. 368 at the wheels
  9. these here are way too much info..thx guys did not know all these stuff..just had in mind that the supra ecu can not be mapped..but at the end what is the best and cheapest way? put in an aftermarket or map the standard?(i guess very few know how to do that right?)
  10. yes i know ric..but an aftermarket ecu is still bpu right? this guy was talking about stock twins stock injectors and they hit that on 25psi of boost..anw as i mention above i saw a lot bpu supras in you tube hitting above 400 on the wheels so i do not know..i will test a second dyno end of the month
  11. @tuneR thx.i will try and take the car to an exhaust garage to check the gaskets..i am planning to take the car to another dyno end of the month and see what happens..i have been searching in you tube and on the internet and i saw a lot of bpu supras (jspec and uk/us spec) hitting 400+ on the wheels so i do not know whats true or not..all i am saying if the second dyno shows similar numbers i will be very confused..we have to start the discussion all over again..lol i do not know how much difference would make that here we use 98 octane gas and for my run we used some octane booster also.. p.s.. i was told that a uk bpu supra in greece hitted 500 on the wheels just with a remap..
  12. I would take out the radiator and take for a clean up or change it completely

    BPU Setup

.what do you mean nic? All i am.saying is as far as boost goes cause the car already is boosting according how open is the restrictor ring and because is a j spec you can not go beyond 1.3 bar well thats about it..yes probably it will boost better with a boost control but thats pretty much it...thats my opinion anw...if you disagree feel free to explain
  14. Yes i will try to take some pics as soon as possible
  15. @tricky.. if i have a bad gasket on the exhaust or a leak on the exhaust pipe would that affect the sensor used for the dyno? would that make it read more atmosferic air? @tuner were you talking about an exhaust gasket?

    BPU Setup

is it a jspec supra? if yes do not expect too much work from the boost control as they tend to overboost a bit..all comes to what ring you have..if you hit 1.1 with the controler off thats pretty much your minimum..and because you can not go much higher than that (0.1) cause is dangerous for the j specs the controler is pretty much useless..to set it you just start from 10% and keep rising until you get the boost you want..but as i mentioned you will have the boost from the ring at 5% of the controler and max at 10%...as scott said keep it off and enjoy the boost from your exhaust..
  17. 50 km trip and the battery dies? check your alternator mate cause most probably you will have the same problem soon
  18. @tricky first of all thx for all the replies and your concern..the egt is hks and maybe i am saying wrongly as where the sensor is located(it is approx in the middle of the car on the exhaust pipe)when you get your self on the ground you can see the sensor fitted on the exhaust.. as far as the dyno wideband in the video i posted at the end when the camera comes in the back you can clearly see the sesnor used stack in the muffler in the back..(do not know if this is how is supposed to be) @tuneR broken gasket you mean head engine gasket? if i had that i would have engine temperature problems right? i don't..the car runs smooth @cannislupus.thx for the reply as i wanted to know about j spec fuel pumps..so a wallbro 255 is better than a j spec crap?
  19. And yes the dyno op is also a tuner..lol
  20. They installed the afr sensor in the tailpipe also ..is that the wrong way to do it?i do not know..i guess the best thing i can do is to.take the car to another dyno..problem is there is anotherone available here but is also a dynojet..my question is this.,bpu mods are standard and i have all of them made except the fuel pump(according to some stock.pump is good.enough)..all bpu supras run between 1-1.2 bar boost.,do all of them run so lean like me?my.thought is either my injectors or pump need to be ckecked.or the dyno and the sensor we used is all over the place
  21. The car has been running 1.2 for the past 5 years now so my guess is that it has a restrictor ring..no major overboosting all these years..as far as the boost control goes yes i know that you can not lower the boost but this one does not seem to respond..as far the colour thing nothing in the manual written and noone ever experienced. Something similar..so i do not now..and as far as i know j spec supras are ok to run at 1.2..even in stock fuel pump.,i will change it.anw and see what happens..maybe injectors need a service or cleaning - - - Updated - - -
  22. Do j spec supras have the same fuel pump as uk/us ones? And yes dynojet dynos seem to show slight bigger numbers than mustangs...but do not know if the afr sensor the tuner used also is a bit off..cause as i wrote above the car's setup is like this for at least 6 years..it should be something wrong by now i think
  23. can not be 100% sure but the car sounds normal all these years..maybe its my phones camera
