  1. You sure about that?! Anyway just saw an opportunity to have some fun and big up the UK spec. Not even sure spec is relevant after nearly 20 years, cars will need to assessed on their individual merits . . . . . and insurance quotes!
  2. Lets start with full leather interior trim and all the options (active aero, heated seats etc) as standard, better suspension developed for our shit roads, steel turbo's, bigger injectors, large case diff, diff cooler, big brakes as standard and not to mention the dildo's on the front. Hell even the small things in life such as a rear fog light make a differnce
  3. Thats's fine as I don't want to sell but you can't have everything! It's a manual, totally standard and as it came out of the factory, well apart from a newly aquired set of BBS LM alloys but have kept the original wheels. Low miles relative to age (95k) with thousands spent on prevantative maintence and non of this rust underneath that everyone thinks UK specs suffer from. You also forgot the main benefit of the UK cars, cheap insurance!
  4. Welcome to the club mate, you clearly have great taste opting for a UK spec! Let me know when you've finished saving, never thought I'd say it but could be persuaded to sell with growing pressure to fund an engagement/wedding and a London house purchase!
  5. Is there still time for my UK TT6 to be considered? Think there needs to be one stock example. Spec list would be short as it is exactly as it came out of the factory. Don't really have any photos with me on my work computer but this is how it looks
  6. If you were lucky enough to get 22mpg on the combined cycle your monthly fuel cost alone would be £450 (£5,400 p/a). This is assuming 1,500 miles per month with fuel @ £1.45p/l. I for one would be looking at cheaper commuting options given the circumstances.
  7. UK specs run a different system and don't suffer with the issue of being stuck in snow mode trying to pull out of junctions. No annoying warning triangle when it's off either. Wonder how many of the crashed threads could be avoided by just leaving it on when it gets to this time of year!
  8. Not used them but was considering taking my UK spec to these guys based on a recommendation: http://www.chassisclean.co.uk/ seem to know what they're doing.
  9. Correct, but it is the only location I visited and only dealt with (actual name would be nice) an asian guy.
  10. The pictures of the location I have given are taken from the top of the ramp in front of the silver supra shown in the second photo of PB post 343. This unit is where I purchased my Supra. This is his dedicated Supra showroom and is a different location from where he has presented himself in the photo in front of the line of cars. It is 50 yards away, check it out if it doesn't seem right.
  11. Correct the line of cars with Paul brown in the photo is not the same location as shown on the maps. The maps show the dedicated Supra showroom on lincoln rd represented by PB in post 343. Edit: Just seen the post above would appear both 'showrooms' are on lincoln rd!
  12. Pot calling kettle here I think! It's fair to say we've establish the reputation now and all know the questions raised. Only thing we need now are answers not more pointless posts which give an opportunity for the real issues to be avoided.
  13. Post 343 might be worth a look!
  14. It is aknowledged in post 343 where I purchased the car.
  15. That is certainly the place I bought my UK spec from, think there are some members wanting to know why Bargain Cars direct came up on my bank statement? Also nice to put a face to the name, never had the pleasure of meeting you.
  16. I can only comment on the place that I bought my car from (Paul Brown Cars) so it is the right place (one of many perhaps, heard they move a lot!), I have photo's because took one last shot of my old jag on exchange.
  17. Jump to his defence, maybe you might want to read some of those post I'm in no way defending this guy, quite the opposite. I have purchased from them though and have merely relaid facts, and backed them up with evidence on numerous occasions. The unit with 5 cars in it was behind me when taking the photo's at the top of the ramp I am stood on. I suspect the photo on google is quite old when this outfit were known as platinum auto's/ boys toyz or bargain cars direct.
  18. Which bit because I'd say the photo's are pretty conclusive!
  19. Looks to be the same place! I do hope all this info doesn't void my warranty!
  20. Cant be certain but best guess looking at google would be end of Lincoln road at the back of the building with The Rocky Road tag.
  21. He (??) does have premises on said business park, it's impossible to find even with directions. It is down an alley off one of the roads behind some radio/communications (IIRC) premises. there is a yard which holds 15 -20 motors with room for 5 more inside a unit. When I bought my car this was the dedicated Supra showroom with all other cars at the main (??) showroom. Would of been at least 15 cars there mostly Supra's and mostly in shocking condition (cheap kits and poorly matched paint stood out, didn't bother inspecting any). Even the immaculate blue UK TT6 I turned up to view was shabby, didn't know before I made the 200 mile journey but it had already been sold and was off overseas. Just happened to be a very nice white (not my favoured colour at the time) one just come in with impressive history otherwise I would of been out of there never to return. Luckily the car hasn't skipped a beat in a year of ownership (testiment to previous owner not PB) but even this immaculate/stunning example would still benefit from about a grands worth of cosmetic TLC from autobody solutions to get it to tip top condition!!
