This really is a fantastic event guys, get involved or at least get yourself tickets!! I think I tried to do too much with too many people last year so didn't end up spending enough time on the stand but happy to come along again this year and help out one of the days.

All sorted with a stock unit thanks, this is just for the benefit of others

Finally got to the bottom of the boost issues I'd been having before selling the car; I'll let the pictures do the talking: As I was lead to believe this was an improvement over the stock unit and suitable for small singles I though I'd share this for anyone else thinking they were sitting pretty having swapped out the 20 year old Toyota intercooler. This was (it's scrap now) a 3 year old intercooler that came off a stock TT6 having covered in the region of 13k miles during that time. If you're lucky enough not to have a massive split down the weld then don't rule out it leaking from the core like this one also was.

I have a reasonable idea of the current market!! You should be trying to convince the insurance company to agree something around the £16k mark. I can see I'll regret going through with the sale of mine but they are only appreciating assets as long as you keep up spending on the maintenance!

I'm fine with it being there for the whole event. I'm guessing if you have a car in there you get a ticket included for all 3 days or would this need to be purchased separately?

Everything is for sale for the right price, if you're not sorted by then ask me again in July when I'm back from Le Mans and my wedding! Although something deep down tells me this one should be kept original!

Thanks Christian, certainly did, quietly monitoring the residuals on F-types now! Top work as always, I used to think it looked alright when I'd cleaned it until I picked it up the other day. It looked brand new and (in my opinion at least) didn't look out of place in that special garage. I'll be back again in future and would certainly recommend your services to other members. Lewis

Yeh Admiral have some good premiums, just be careful with modifications though. My plans for BPU have had to be put on hold, wheels and exhaust are about as far as you can go with mods, they wont touch boost controllers. Good job I checked before having it fitted!

It sure is! Will be saving the PH article and advert for the next time an agreed valuation conversation comes around with an insurance company but in this market I'd guess it's destined to head overseas!

Just out of interest why does the club not have a stand/area at Silverstone Classic? Booked my tickets today and quick seach online showed massive savings and infield parking for pretty much every owners club out there. Is this something that has been considered in the past and even if it has is it worth revisiting for 2015?

Must be! Agree not practicle if you want to use the car regularly but perfect if the OP is going away for a few months. Awesome bit of kit and to be honest I find it less hassle than the stormforce cover. Don't miss always having to clean and dry the car before covering it and forever airing it to get rid of trapped condensation.
