  1. Keron on here strip and sell parts.. I'm sure he would have a set for you..
  2. Sometimes it's not worth having an argument because he's taking the pee.. Just agree and walk away..
  3. Could be the one I own. His name was Phil.. She still have the same rims, Du-luck front, T78, Purple.. etc.
  4. I'm sorry mate but I still don't see the difference between Supras in the UK and the rest.. I understand what your say and yes if I had a choose I would got motec but I can't. And for your comment on "For anyone with a TT going single, by using a cheap ecu, you're demonstrating to potential buyers of your car that it was built to a price rather than a standard." what are you trying to say mate? That I'm just interested in building my supra with crap parts? Austec Racing build my motor so I'm sure it has been done to a high standard but the FIC is not an ecu I want to run my engine management. I will later go with something better like Syvecs when I can afford but for now something standalone with knock sensors is better than what I'm running.
  5. Very good response mate.. We need a better understanding of the other ECUs on the market.. No doubt Ryan is well known and no one can ever doubt his work but sometimes we just can’t afford the best..
  6. and thank you for the advise ugp..
  7. I have been reading other furms where the Megasquirt has been discussed.. Nothing bad IMO.. http://www.supraforums.com/forum/showthread.php?459090-Mega-squirt-Stand-alone&highlight=megasquirt
  8. Then the rest of the world owning supras are in mega problems.
  9. Got her in September already single so had planned for a decent ecu but unfortunately she did a bigend on the dyno trying to sorting the FIC.. Spanner in my program if you understand.. Then her coilover went so had to do the shocks... My hand was forced in this matter mate now I just want to get the basic ecu out and something a little better to ensure the motor will be save but I don't have a larger budget anymore to spend on a ecu.
  10. Baby on the way so save will be a bit hard in a few months... But yes I will speak to Ryan and see what options I have.. You don't have a Syvecs and a few sensors lying around doing nothing do you JP?
  11. JP, I know Ryan and Syvecs is the only true way to go but dude that is out of my budget.. I recently spent nearly £3k on the motor so just dont have the cash at the moment but really want to get rid of the piggy back f/ic I have. I'm sure any of the mentioned standalone ecus are better than the crap I have.. I will later look at a Syvecs but something cheaper will have to do for now..
  12. That great dude! I'm definitely looking into this.. Thanks bud!
  13. I'm running a single and is hoping to upgrade my injectors to 800 or 1000cc. Would the megasquirt handle this? I like to option you get with the Emerald k6
  14. I was searching for some ecu info and found this thread.. Good one Mellonman.. As you know I to have an AEM FIC and is looking at alternatives. My plan was Syvecs but with a baby on the way there is no way I can spend £2k on an ecu.. So what the verdict on alternatives to the Syvecs?
  15. Easy.. Don’t do it.. I did it last year now she's pregnant and I'm thinking how I can justify a baby seat in the back of the Soop...
  16. You should record their fight and then play it back very loud the next night.. I'm sure they will get the message..
  17. is it gone now? I'm after the arial..
  18. I have the original Jap (red'ish) flare...
  19. Sweet.. Come to a meet and I will tell you all over a pint.. Lol.. Next one is last Sunday of every month at Peas Pottage and then the first Friday of every month at Bluewater. I can pick you up if needed.. PM me your email address.
