  1. sorry for the highjack but it might help basically are we looking for the turbo pressure signal wire? and its the middle wire from this circled in red? and we just use a multimeter to trace the wire from there to the ecu? is this right i can get my hands on a multimeter inabout 10 mins so would this be right to garantee i have the right wire
  2. found it here bud http://mkiv.supras.org.nz/specs.htm link was from this http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?145275-ECU-Pinouts-for-a-1996-facelift-TT&highlight=pre+vvti+ecu+pinouts lol didnt expect it to come up in a search but it has nice one josh will save that link i think ill use a multimeter to check from the 2nd wire from the sensor to the ecu just to make sure i have the right wire lol looks like its the 2nd wire on the sensor
  3. any ideas how to find out what wires are what from our ecu's mine is a jap auto twinturbo 1996 facelift pre-vvti ive looked on that thread and noticed theres a jap on there but doesnt say if its facelift or not and it says they could be different somewhere i read (might have been that thread)
  4. lol hi dunk its my oil filter housing, ive ordered all the new seals/ o-rings and new gaskets for manifold and throttle body and new oil pressure switch all from toyota £77 i already have a new oil filter/sparkplugs/cambreather pipes had help from a member who works at toyota and he found what seals i need and i wanted to replace them all there replacing the gaskets at the same time while im at it just waiting for them to come and then i can sort the problem out its not leaking much but there was alot in the engine tray so it must have been doing this for along time new oil will be going in after the oil leak fixed
  5. lol yeah best to get 6 just incase for the extra few quid
  6. ohh the guide says 6 litres so i just need 5 litres?
  7. i thought most people at bpu paid around 50 quid for oil lol

  9. im looking for some decent oil to put in i dont mind what it costs as long as its not stupid price £60 tops for 6 litres (im not sure what the toyota one is like) we do need 6 litres dont we? i think im going with the Silkolene PRO S 5W-40 Ester Synthetic http://www.opieoils.co.uk/p-1146-silkolene-pro-s-5w-40-ester-synthetic-oil-for-high-performance-engines.aspx but i was wondering what the difference between that one and the cheaper one because theres a big price difference oilman gave me a list of the better oils and then the ones that are good but cheaper and i picked one from the more expensive list
  10. whats the difference between these 2 oils apart from the price lol?
