ive been doing most at home mate, but i dont have the tools to deal with stubborn bolts anyone can change a few nuts and bolts but i dont really want to be messing under the car on a gravel drive if i snap a stud im in the shit someone on here not long ago took his car to the garage and when he picked his car up there were problems that wasnt happening before he took the car in and people are terrible in my area. not exactly hard work but how am i supposed to get a grinder in to grind the nut off? thats how i usually do it if it wont undo

im in brownhills mate about an hour from shropshire do you charge by the hour bud? just wondering what you charge so i know roughly what i need to scrape together

atleast i would get a real answer? not like the garage who i can garantee when i go to pick the car up they would say they had problems and want 250 quid i would rather someone who knows what there doing with them do it and i will replace with stainless steal nuts n bolts so if anyone knows the sizes could you let me know

not sure mate is there any guys on here with a garage thats close enough to go to? i would rather trust someone here that knows about supras would be nice to get a quote from someone instead of a small garage that work on 1 litre corsas and tiny cars that they dont take care with

i think i might have to bud garages are hard to trust in my area, and i wouldnt trust them to give me a price after they finished they can be lying about how long it took and people are like that in my area, full of nobheads around here who just want to scam and rob eachother

what would the price be if they run into problems tho bud? does it rocket up? always done it at home in the past so never had many dealings with garages

any ideas how much extra they would charge if bolts snap also anyone know what size the nuts are so i can order some stainless steel ones? also the size of the bolts that go on the sensor on the side of the downpipe?

i have a gravel drive and its dodgey to work on there also i think im going to have problems with the 2 bolts on the side of the cat ive asked someone on here but im not sure if he would do it but what im saying is the £80 is if theres no trouble, if they run into problems they will put the price up obviously it can be done at home if theres no trouble but i think there will be so the price will shoot up

i would have thought it would have taken an hour tops if it didnt snap surely, not many bolts to undo this is the price if no hassel, so i could only imagine the price if they had trouble

ive tried mate and they say that they wont do it because i have my own pipe and they basically want me to buy a pipe from them lol

does anyone know of a cheap garage or someone that will change my downpipe for me? ive been quoted £80 and i think thats terrible it doesnt take that long if the bolts undo easily and who knows what they would charge if there were problems anyone know a better place or someone that will do it cheaper

no mate it doesnt go to that wire just wondering what was taken out -
i was just wondering why this wire was spliced that i noticed when fitting the hks fcd its a jap spec and there is a wire thats been spliced into for some reason and whatever was fitted has been cut out and left the wire hanging instead of removing the splice properly the wire is pin 2 which is SP1 no1 vehicle speed sensor

i tried the above and i was getting results through a few wires my dad said it must be because its through a relay anyway it was the same colour wire as the pin62 which in the guide it said was the right one ive hooked it up and wired the live and ground , changed the setting to 9 everything is running as normal so i guess its worked lol? i am only set to 1 bar boost at the moment anyway because i have the 1st cat still in place , needs doing in a garage installed it ready as i guess it wont hurt
