  1. i had a little leak there too i decided to nip them up like tomgeer said, mine wasnt even finger tight so far so good
  2. yeah thats the exact same solenoid mate heres what i found to show me what was in and out http://www.naikontuning.com/det_tec/wp-content/uploads/2010/04/dual-sbc-spec-s.pdf i havent looked at the guide the wiring is pretty simple for my controller i just had to splice into the rpm and speed wire on the ecu and then give it a live and ground ive plumbed my vac line in from the boost gauge i now just need to plumb this in which is shown here http://www.mkiv.com/techarticles/blitz_dsbc/index.html same thing really both have an in and an out
  3. ive managed to find it in a old guide it does say that these shouldnt be used in a twin turbo car but this setup come straight off a supra tt and worked fine this is for anyone interested or wanted to know the same because theres lots of old posts on here with others asking the same and had no answer in the thread from left to right the first red circle is BLEEDER the 2nd red circle is OUT the 3rd red circle is IN i take it the "bleeder" you just leave?
  4. hi guys fitting my blitz i-color and everything is going fine ive come to plumbing in the solenoid now and im confused on this the guide i have is for a dual solenoid so it doesnt show me whats what this is my solenoid on the dual solenoid in the guide i have printed there is an in and an out so its simples this one has 3 ports where a hose can go, i have pointed a red arrow to all 3 in the photo any ideas what goes where and what is what lol
  5. i havent put new dials in mate i tried to take them out to have it scanned and sent to a company to make me some dials, and when i come to put the needles back on im having this problem its as if the needle is lazy i was wondering where the ecu gets how fast your going? is it form the dials? i was wondering if its going to mess with my blitz i-color because i have to tap into the speed wire on the ecu ive had another mess with the dials and it is better but just lazy, its not sticking now but when i brake it doesnt start dropping for a split second is this usual i carnt remember lol
  6. lol my car has been at 1 bar since ive had it due to the 1 decat i think it really needs this
  7. ive tried hard and softly mate will have to keep trying, i have no patients and i can see myself launching the cluster down the road
  8. might sound obvious and you may have checked but i take it all your pipes were fine but did you replace with new gaskets? might be worth stripping it all back out and re-fitting everything
  9. hi guys ive had my cluster out today to scan the dials to send to a company to make new dials in the end i couldnt do it because it has pins in it and i carnt get them out but i have taken my needled out and put them back in the same as they come out and it was well off so i removed the needles and fitted them again while the car was on tickover. im now having a problem and my speedo goes up and sticks to a speed and then goes down its all a mess any ideas what i can do or do i need a new cluster? car is a tt auto jap facelift its seems to stick and then just drop also would this mess my blitz i-color boost controller up? i have to tap into the speed wire from the ecu so it must need to read my speed would the boost controller read the speed form my dials ? so if its wrong could it mess with the controller? just wondering how the ecu would know the speed or would it be fine and its just me getting the wrong speed through the needles
  10. lol didnt notice that i picked this company because of the 100% feedback
  11. hope mine does , not due for 6 months tho

    Car speed

lol yeah road speed limits bud
  14. lol i could imagine how angry you were i know they are busy but should still take care good to hear your sorted tho cj well hopefully monday lol
  15. hi mate the pieces i dont have are circled in red in this pic which is a nylon hose, a connector to connect the hose to the hose coming from the back of the controller, and the blitz t-piece ive circled in blue the hose from the back which i need to connect to some 3mm hose somehow, it does fit nice inside the hose but i dont know if it would be ok like that. most of these kits ive seen for sale 2nd hand have these bits missing too so i wondered how others fit it? i think these bits are usually kept on the car
  16. hi dan, im sure its too late bud but im really happy with the kit and its nothing to worry about, i know it was perfect when you sent it out i seen all the photos and the bonnet had a bang on the side and its bent it around slightly, wish they would atleast take abit of care because they know exactly what there picking up and delivering. there was that much bubble wrap in my house when i unwrapped it all lol ohh and it wasnt the bumper she got it wrong it was the wings he banged on the van, the car will be having a respray in the summer hopefully so i dont mind about it bud hi dellboy yeah it has made me think twice about using them again especially when they bang it on the floor right infront of your face (well my mrs's face) its not that bad tho and i dont think it would ever come off, and like you said it could be screwed under the sticker so i will have a look and see if i can sort something but i dont think it would come off my mrs said he walked up the drive with it and dropped it down on the floor then asked her the name, i have slabs by my step too so it was banged on the slabs, all down to the courier i guess but it looks like they all have faults
  17. hi mate ,the part in worried about is the nylon hose in the back of the controller the inside diameter must be about 1mm-2mm at the most would be hard getting a t-piece for it because the original tpiece doesnt go inside the hose it goes around it its hard to explain but the nylon hose goes inside the one end of the t-piece my problem is getting this nylon hose to join to my silicone hose which i will have a t-piece on the end i can slide the nylon hose inside the 3mm silicone hose and it fits nice and snug but would it leak? im new to this so not sure how strong the vacuum would be and if it would be enough to make it leak or if it would be fine
  18. anyone know if this would be ok or another way of doing it blitz want £30 for the special t-piece £10 for a plastic connector and £6 for a little nylon hose i think this is crazy so would like to find an alternative
  19. nice one bud ill write this down and have a look at a few places see if they stock some
  20. nice one can i get this at normal places like local sellers that sell car parts ? sikoflex
  21. ohh so you use paste instead of gaskets and obviously i use my restrictor ring can the paste be used ontop of the decat?
  22. hopefully all goes well it should be on next weekend bud
