any reason why your boost is low at bpu? edit nevermind i guess you still have your first cat in? if you do, get rid of it and have your boost turned to 1.2 bar, that would put a big smile on your face

if any one is having second thought about this then i wouldnt worry, its an easy job and simple to do. soaked the black ring in wd40 and it screwed on most the way then tapped the rest

so when you start your car you should drive it and not leave it running? ive always thought you should let it warm up standing still first ?

ive noticed alot of people who sell supras end up getting another one lol someone i speak to on facebook sold the supra and i think its only been a month and he wants a new supra and is getting one now

thats according to the saxo guys some of them are crazy on stickers i joined awhile back now when i had my vtr and it wasnt a forum for me lol

stickers give you an extra 10bhp i read somewhere before that some places dont dyno autos properly , is that true because if it is it could be why the result was low? if it was me i would take it somewhere else

yeah thats what i used my timer for, to warm it up just set the timer high and go and finish my cup of tea. saying that tho, if the car can easily be taken like this then my turbo timer will be coming out.

lol i drove the car for atleast 5 mins afterwards without any boost at all and the turbo timer was on for 1 min also

thats what i was wondering mate ive only just noticed it and maybe its just normal but never heard it before, it is quiet and i lifted the bonnet as soon as it was turned off. it could have been doing it before and its just a coincidence that i hear it after what ive done to the car lol wondered if anyone here has ever heard it do it

im not too sure mate, i only took the 3 front pipes off that only have the blow off valve / vac pipes and the cam breather pipes going to them so i guess this isnt normal? i read somewhere a few mins ago its normal and its the just the old stuff burning off and when new fluid comes through it bubbles again but that was an american site would rather find out here from you guys lol

lol no mate checked everywhere its weird should i turn my boost down anyway or would i be fine at 1.25bar i know the car it come off was a jap and run at 1.25 bar and never had problems

i first thought it was the engine but when i put my head near it i found its just to the left where the turbos are i painted the turbo pipes and dumpvalve and also the heatshield for the turbos all with very high temp paint for engines not cheap either its not very loud and not constant its exactly how i described

ok guys this turbo timer is coming out thanks for that. so i guess all they had to do it cut the power wire to the controller?

hi guys not sure if this is normal but im guessing it isnt i took the car out for a spin after putting the turbo hoses back on and i had a leak so i took it back home and sorted the jubilee clips out and i gave it some to see if i had a leak, it boosted to 1.25 bar as set in the boost controller. so im guessing i have no leaks but when i got the car back on the drive and shut the engine off i lifted the bonnet to make sure everything was still on tight, i noticed a buubling noise near the turbos it lasted about 3 seconds then stopped then about 10 seconds later it did it again, and so on for a little while but then stopped any ideas? car seemed fine, 2nd turbo kicked in as it should and pulled like a train on ecstasy i forgot to mention the only thing thats been done to the car is new downpipe, blitz boost controller, new hoses and a paint i first thought it was in the engine but it sounds like its the turbo side just wondering if its normal because of how hot it gets also car hasnt been run for a few days

not sure why it can cause insurance problems because as soon as the handbrake is put down the car cuts out

mine cuts the power really badly like putting the brakes on sometimes even if im going along at around 30 then floor it if there is 1 tiny amount of wheel spin it happens i thought there was something wrong with the car but with that traction control turned off it hasnt done it this is in dry weather too

lol just making sure , i didnt undertsand what was happening at first because its all the time even in dry, one tiny bit of spin and nooooooooooooo power, like someones holding the brakes on lol. i thought something was wrong but scott told me that it sounds like the traction control and when i switched it off it was fine. noting worse than trying to overtake and then it snails along lol

my dads crazy i would get loads of speeding tickets lol and mom dont avoid potholes she tries to hit everyone she sees

ahh does turning it off by the switch completely turn it off? or can it still interfere ?
