  1. when i received mine one wire was off each of the dials and then both wires were off on one dial. not a problem for some people but when you pay out £150 you dont expect to have to send them back to them to be fixed. couldnt do it myself because i suck at soldering and wasnt going to attempt to do it myself paid someone to do it for me so all sorted now but 4 wires from 6 not soldered on properly ?? BUT... the dials are very good and designed just how i asked. and they do offer to fix any problems but so i can have them in the car quicker i paid someone to sort them. they look good at night and i went with a design from another car altered to work on the facelift supra
  2. sorry guys ive completely changed my mind on colour. the pearls im worried about what it looks like at night or in the shade, same with balloon white sometimes it looks silver. im going for a completely different colour i just hope it will look good with the kit i choose
  3. looks good and suits the car. even if it would fail a mot you could always borrow someones rears come mot time then change back when you have passed
  4. look at this tho thats diamond white pearl 051
  5. done looks good at night so cant complain do i just get 051 diamond pearl white or does this have to go on another base? edit* this isnt actually a pearl is it? thats just the colour name?
  6. yeah mate shes local , im sure shes close
  7. im liking it more than the pearl because the one thing i dont want it a creamy coloured car lol
  8. ive found this balloon white at night and it looks really silver still looks really good tho
  9. i need a colour that will look good at night too. the plan was to only have a little pearl over the top and a nice white base, thats how my stepdad said to do it if i wanted it done. what would it look like at night? still white? and any ideas what balloon white looks like at night?
  10. does that pearl look bad in the shade tho mate?
  11. ill have to have a good look when im there
  12. looks like i think my best bet is too stick with something simple im having trouble seeing the difference between ibis white and icewhite , is there any? and thanks guys you helped me make my mind up, one thing i wanted is for it to stay bright white but i didnt know it couldnt be done with pearl. balloon white looks too silver so thats put me off that even tho i think the colour is really nice. so the brightest would be something like i posted above ice white / ibis white ?
  13. thats what im worried about, that i would want to change it afterwards and when im going through the trouble of a full respray i would be gutted if i didnt like it afterwards thats why i posted up here first. is there a website that shows all different coloured paintjobs on cars? i like the balloon white but after thinking shane's car was silver for so long when its actually balloon white its put me off.
  14. thats why i cant make my mind up. i want a colour that will photo up well and look good at night aswell as daytime does anyone know to a website that i look at different colours on? to help try and find a colour. im looking for something abit more specialized than normal 040 white base colour

  17. i dont mean that mate i mean if the engine is jap the maf has to be jap if not it has to be usdm , so it says on other forums
  18. are you 100% sure you have the right maf for the engine rich?
  19. i just put mine on 0 when the car was idling and its fine, i have a boost controller that tells me what the rpm is so that part was easy for me, but just remember what your car idles at warm so its easier to get the right rpm. same with temp, make sure its at the normal temperature so drive it for a while then put it where it usually sits edit* mines facelift
  20. wow shocking. i know not to buy from them now
  21. http://www.supraforums.com/forum/showthread.php?522377-FAQ-VVTi-2JZGTE-Facts-differences-and-conversion-information mark wanted the diagrams i think mate at the bottom not very helpfull rich but i read this "also make sure you are using jdm maf as the part nmumber is slightly diff then usdm maf. a couple of pins need to be moved for maf to read correctly or else cel and car will not rev past 3k"
  22. ohh is it, so its not anything to do with what car the ecu come off? being a 6 speed and yours is a w58?
  23. did you have the enginebay fuse box swapped over in the end rich? or still have the old one in?
