  1. yeah mate he re-used them after he sprayed the pipes aswell lol, if it was me i would replace all the gaskets that have been messed with all on the turbo side and on the manifold/throttlebody side, if it still whistles then you know it cant be a gasket, but the pipes have been checked and new turbo,
  2. infact ive just checked and i told him on 10-03-12 so 4 months ago when he first had the problem lol even if its not the gasket, for the sake of a few quid you know its new, and it would be the first thing i would have looked at if all the pipes were fine
  3. i told him over a month ago, atleast if its not the gasket you can rule it out and they are not expensive
  4. r154 if you dont want 6 speed, i wouldnt bother with the w58

  8. it should be plumbed into the front mate maybe not the same controller but it shows you where to plumb it in http://www.mkiv.com/techarticles/blitz_dsbc/index.html
  9. you sure its not your satnav at fault, some satnavs are rubbish at detecting your speed, i would get a friend to drive infront and follow him and check speeds with a passenger talking to someone in his car on a phone, i wouldnt trust the satnav 100%
  10. you wouldnt be saving much weight tho bud and you wont have the cf look if painted to be honest im not sure why they would be any different to those ones, surely they could use the same mold but use cf instead of fiberglass
