  1. hi mate i cut my throttle body and iacv pipes off. i just want to make sure im right here and i havent missed anything but no other water pipes will be on that side apart from the ones for the oil cooler from the thick metal pipe and into the block. and then the new pipe that i fit from the front of the head by the cam pulleys and that goes to the rear of the engine onto the little pipe that comes off from the thick pipe. nothing else is cooled in that area is it ? and no other water inlets/outlets?

  4. the one i have looks completely different to the one on my block but when i ordered i gave him my car details and thats what they sent the one on my block looks alot bigger too my car is a jap 2jz-gte 1996 facelift but pre vvti

  8. i didnt want to do too much because it would be a waste of money, im putting the car back on the road for now and plan to go with the srd stroker near the end of the year, plus a 6 speed conversion i was just tired of looking at a dirty engine
  9. just checked everything mate with a gauge and everything seemed fine, the walls were fine too and i was told because everything looks fine to not bother changing anything. lapped the valves and checked the clearances ect.
  10. hi guys, most of you know i had my engine removed for a little tlc these are some photos of how it looks now the black covers are just for now, i plan to change for carbon fiber covers from paul new tentioner/camgears/gates racing cambelt/new pulleys/new timing sprocket/headgasket and seals/arp headstuds/new oem crank pulley and new bolt this is what the engine looked like before

  14. ive been told by a reliable guy that the emanage ultimate can handle much more emanage blue handles 650's fine..................

  17. never mind i think its for vvti, i had an extra top cambelt cover gasket too and it was shaped like vvti
  18. i have just fitted the gaskets to my cam covers but i found another seal in the box that is identical to the cam cover gaskets but is shorter by a round an inch any reason for this? its from toyota so oem
  19. whats the reason for that? and is it a problem if someone did? it was a pain in the arse when i did mine i had to take the box off then take it off, it was on tight
  20. dipping looks cheap and nasty get it skinned mate with real carbon fiber and resin
