  2. when you tighten the subframe from underneath its best to get someone to watch these because they turn (bolts)
  3. i have no idea mate its too confusing i dont want to mess lol the only thing i did was lower the boost number down because it was a little on the high side. i have a thick manual for it
  4. im comparing it to a manual boost controller mate , the type thats not worth putting on a supra lol if your sticking with bpu twins then may aswell get it done. but if you plan to go single then it would be pointless
  5. its the banana shape that goes to the front subframe hard to tell from the pik
  6. when i bought mine it was already set up and the difference it made was crazy. way to complicated for me to set up properly so luckily it was already done lol
  7. would be a good idea to change the drop links anyway while your at it, not exactly expensive and you know they are new
  8. i thought it was around 600 idle when warm
  9. 3 days i couldnt figure out why i couldnt move the hub enough to put the bolt back in on the rear. called a mate all the way down from wales (mechanic) and even he was stumped but after about half an hour he realized that i left it in park lol just realized this thread is for the front so none of what i said even matters lol
  10. If you have an auto dont leave it in park. Easily done lol
  11. cant wait to get rid of mine, need to empty it tho first
  12. have to love those, cheers me up knowing someone else is having a terrible day too
  13. ^ if your spending money on a supra then have 10k to spend you are spending money that could buy you the above ^ wide arch ridox already single'd that thread was from 2009 and its the american forum parts are cheaper, best sticking to this site
  14. lol they do look better earless tho mate look at this with the ears on it looks like its got a beard sorry for stealing your pics bud
  15. ears are on in that photo mate, the body shop guys he used removed them when they fitted it
  16. hey ric what did you use to clean the build up on the pistons ect...
  17. should be fine mate not as heavy as i thought
  18. lol i cant mate its Cotswold stone wall and the other side is my house - - - Updated - - - thanks bud
  19. thanks bud didnt expect to see a thread on here about weights lol 270kg the tt engine, i thought it would have been a heap load more 500kg plus is that weight with all the turbo side on and the manifold ect.. if thats the weight of the whole lot then it shouldnt be a problem
  20. ive found some trolleys i could use but need to know the weight of the engine with gearbox off but everything else intact
  21. any ideas how much it weighs with the turbos and manifold stripped off bud? but means i would have to rebuild it all on the front garden which i wanted to avoid would be more hassle any ideas where i could buy an engine stand thats not wider than 78cm
  22. didnt quite think this through my plans were to remove my engine with the crane and take it to the back garden where my stand will be but how the hell do i get through the gate the crane is too wide and so is the stand
