  8. thought so bud. do you guys get someone to lye down underneath the car and pull down on the box as its coming out to make sure it doesnt hit? and tie the front bracket shorter so it lifts the front slightly first to get the angle?
  9. i was just wondering if its alright to pull the engine with the tt downpipe still attached does it cause any issues or is it not in the way. i cant see it being an issue but its a real pain in the ass to do it while its on the car
  10. its 280 with turbos /manifolds ect...... so maybe a typo
  11. im not alone http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?112219-Eek!-Oil-in-ECU-connectors but i know no one has sprayed with wd40 because i had the ecu out a while back when we added the fcd and all was dry
  12. its not along the wires guys , its on the connector and a little way up the wire about 2 inches max, it has me baffled 1 thing im wondering is my aircon. now for some strange reason it worked fine. and now its gassless for some odd reason so im guessing ive had a leak somewhere. could this be aircon oil? does the aircon come through in this area? i see pipework in the bay for this going to that area
  13. im in the middle of removing the engine, i disconnected the ecu connectors and noticed a pale brownish oil on the ecu connectors and wires also it seems thin any ideas what the hell this is?
  14. ive been advised duel feed rail too so ill be going down the same route but i thought they were wired up to work together at the same time , all the time. so interested to see how it should be done will you be going twin feed all the way from the cradle to the front of the car with twin filters. or are you putting a single line all the way to the front and splitting it after the filter?
  15. lol thats how to do it so ideally you could do with a multimeter did you have any instructions with it which wires are for what
  16. i thought these batteries were dry bud?
