  1. yeah thats right mate shouldnt have had the original airbox on it should have come with the k&n type cone but was changed before the car was bought to me and i didnt check i thought there should be some pipework because it will be sucking all the hot air in
  2. ive looked and everything looks fine apart from the electrics on the car a total mess and needs an auto electrician on it, hate it when idiots mess with electrics on a car and bodge everything together and mess it all up the standard air box has been "chucked" back in the car all loose and theres a filter in it im not sure if this is right but theres a part at the bottom front and on the top right side thats just open on the box , not sure if piping should be fed to it and its evertime im on boost i take it its just normal
  3. ok m8 will do ive noticed aswell sometimes a triangle warning light pops up
  4. never been in a supra before so i can only go on what im hearing but it dont sound right when accelerating i hear alot of air gushing now i dont know if i ts normal but on my others cars ive had then straight away it would be a boost leak somewhere but im not sure with a supra if its suppost to sound like this dont sound right to me i think its coming from the drivers side

    hi

yeah mate so i can go out and buy any type of supra because here http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?33302-VVTi-A-discussion it says Neutral MAF. The VVTi uses MAF, The MAF is far more accurate than a speed density system. The downside is that the MAF will eventually become a restriction if big power is required. and the MAF can only pass so much air. Some in the US were trying twin MAF mods to over come this. The US/UK MAF seems to top out around 500ish BHP just want to make sure i get the right car for me as i dont want to have to buy again and even if i got a auto i can get the conversion done

    hi

when looking for my car is there any type i want to avoid? i will want to be aiming for around 700bhp can i just go out and buy any supra twin turbo to get to this level at the same cost ? or is there certain ones i have to look for?
  10. is it same as this http://www.suprastore.com/hkscamgears.html in the mkiv section on that site

    hi

doesnt it make it quicker like scott said? would it have quicker acceleration would just be untill i get a conversion done some time in the future but would defenatly be a garage job, the hardest thing ive had to do on a car was change a gearbox and clutch on a saxo vtr in the snow so nothing as big as this,
  13. ashbuster

  17. ive noticed in the bpu theres no mention of a remap wouldnt that be a basic power mod to begin with ? or carnt that ecu be mapped and is an aftermarket ecu needed? new to the supra and just wondered always thought when you upgrade things you need a remap for the mods like with a scooby
  18. nice work and that spray job offer is good 2k around here for a spray job
