nice tip thanks guys i dont have any decent tools like that so looks like a mobile machanic job just to put that back together anyone know a rough cash price so i know im not being ripped off if its that drop link that sstopping it going back 100% then id grind it off but if its not and i do it then its more money to the mechanic to fix the problem

nice one mate will give it another go tomorrow i noticed that the drop links were abit of a mess and ill try and sort it tomorrow but i have a feeling that it will round the inside so would be a grinder job lol i called karparts and roadrunner today to ask how much new rear droplinks were and they wanted £30 each and then vat ontop lol ive noticed some on ebay that are cheap but not sure if they can be trusted theres no difference between the facelift and normal supras when it comes to drop links is there mate?

yeah mate after putting the coilover in i removed it to try and get that lined back up, whatever is pulling it that way is doing it at some force because even with 2 of us levering it it dont budge, the hub doesnt seem to be facing straight either

would the drop links be stopping it form being pushed over? i thought as it was in that position before then the drop links wouldnt have made a difference because i thought they were movable anyway what happened was, the strut rod bolt was removed from where it joins to the hub and it all moved backwards to the rear of the car and no matter how much we try it wont push back over towards the front of the car to line back up with the bar even with the shock back off and thanks for the reply

if theres any mechanics or anyone that knows what there doing interested in coming and sorting it out then pm me a price all i want is the bolt being put back in and basically sorted for the wheel to go back on so it can be put back on the ground

lol looks like my car is off the road untill i can get someone to sort it been trying it there is no way its going back into place its dropped back and turned slightly it wont budge and i dont know what to do looks like a mobile mechanic job , would he have to strip it all?

spat was cracked mate and he kindof finished it off supose there not too expensive tho lol in in brownhills mate in walsall, my brother is coming down to see if he can help so will get back to you bud

lol nice offer mate, when ive finished painting the bedroom to keep the misses happy ill have another look are you local then mate? ive been told its easier with ratchet straps so im trying to get hold of some at the minit and to be honest mate you carnt do much worse than it is now lol

nice one bud any recommendations for one in the west mids area? theres a couple really local but last time i used them they scratched my car up im in brownhills in walsall

if i carnt manage to get this back in any ideas how much it would cost to have someone come out and do it?

thanks mate has to be a way because that bar may need changing sometime so would be a way of replacing

hi mate i was using the guide on here and everything was going fine, and he said the suspension wont come out unless we get that bolt out so it will all drop down to give it enough clearence and i couldnt lever it anywhere near to put a screwdriver in mate really hard

ahh please dont tell me the drop links need to come off to help move it over? dont think these can be undone as the inside will round off i think i think it would need grinding off and new ones on if this is the only way tho will have to be done

yeah thats right mate the whole rear is up i was woried i thought it wouldnt ever go back on because i tried levering with a bar and it wouldnt budge lol

thanks for the tip mate will give it ago tomorrow im wet and cold now lol does this usually happen when the bolt is undone ? everything fly to the back its a good 3 inches to get it back inline ? thanks bud

it was my stepdad that undone it even with the shock off and a jack taking the weight it wont move back forward to go back onto that bar

now that bolt was undone everythings shot to the right and it wont go back to the left to fit back on that bar any ideas how to get this back on because my car is still up on axel stands at the minit

been trying to change the rear to coilovers and was having probs getting the old lot out my stepdad said i wouldnt get it out untill i undo the bottom nut from under neath and he undone it fair enough i got the old one out and now i carnt get that bolt back in, its far away from where it should be and i carnt leaver it back any ideas what im supost to do? im not very good at explaining things but its the bottom nut and bolt right under where the wheel goes lol ohh and i should mention , heres a pik circled in red

do you know a cheap auto electrician ? lol lights dont work on the dials and the cigerette lighter dont work and the light on it dont work and loads of other crazy crap been messed with
