1. Saw this a while back, but it's always a good reminder. Looked as though the police officer on his undercover 1000cc, egged the Skyline on. What else did he think he was going to do when he sees a bike on his bumper at 100+, pull into the other lane? Plus it didn't really look that dangerous to me, not dangerous enough for half a year in prison.
2. What about suspension wise? Softer springs on the back and how the weight is distributed with the ride height? All of this will help I think. Also this will help too.
3. First 2 images is this in my opinion (the race car).
4. How much would it cost to buy (+ ship from MVP) and fit the TRD replica kit?
5. 345mm tyres on the back, but it's a FF car.
6. The TT will be quicker, 1.8 turbo, 240hp, AWD and it weighs 1.4 tons. Leave it for now, later go force induction and you will be seeing the hairdresser in your rear view mirror.
7. I think you would be better off with the IS300. It's already got the 2JZGE motor and 5 speed auto from the N/A Supra. I was really planning on doing this swap a while ago, but it just seems as though none of the garages in the UK have done this before.
8. Goes to show how many tools are living in this country.
9. I used to own a 2.2 i-cdti, it's a real good engine. Even with over 110k miles it didn't give me any problems, it felt as though it was still brand new. Although 140hp doesn't sound like much, it's got enough torque for you to overtake most others on the road easily. If that's not enough power for you, with just a remap you can get 180hp+. Also another car I would consider is the BMW 320d.
10. I hate taking roundabouts side by side with most drivers on the road, majority of them have no road awareness and some are totally unaware of your presence. You have to watch out for them cutting into your lane. If I can't be infront of somebody when taking a roundabout, I'll just get behind them. There's no telling what they're going to do or where they're going to go. Also I've noticed most these bad driving habits are usually made by young drivers or women.
11. These cars really fill drivers with overconfidence.
12. The only thing funny is his Youtube channel.
13. It actually doesn't look too bad. Plus I don't know a better car than a Supra to promote your business.
14. In my area there was a stolen car abandoned just off of a busy road-about, not far from the city centre. It was there for way more than a day before it got towed away. Funny how thousands and thousands of people pass through there everyday and police couldn't move it. Yet they feel 1 car down a quiet cul de sac is a problem. Even though you weren't parked right, I'm sure the police have bigger fish to fry.
15. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=baFh6DiuVqo The Supra seems to be doing well, especially competing with an Evo in the wet! Although the driver seems to be working a lot harder to keep it from going off. I guess it's all down to the right tyres/tyre pressure, suspension setup, rear diff and most importantly the driver.
16. I've never driven a Supra before, never mind in the wet. So I have no experience. But I've heard a good diff makes a huge difference.
17. Imagine showing up there in a car like Jamies. I would be embarrassed if I just spent £100k-£200k on a Lamborghini or a Ferrari.
18. Would it be wise to strip out the back seats if your only ever going to occasionally go to the track (mostly driving on the streets). Wouldn't this make the Supras oversteer more especially on high hp (600hp-800hp), because there is no weight on the back of the car?
19. No offense but, you can't compare the 2 cars. Your Fiat maybe fast, but it isn't even in the same league as a Supra when it comes to tuning potential, reliability, handling and looks.
20. I wonder if you can download Best Motoring episodes from torrent sites?
21. I always see videos of Corvettes loosing control while going in a straight line. What's wrong with these cars? Anybody driven a Corvette? How do they handle compared to a Supra?
22. Perfect, always thought the do-luck front looked better without a number plate and better air flow too.
