Well I thought it was the output shaft at first, I then noticed fluid all around the selector shaft. So I thoroughly cleaned it and all around the box. Replaced the selector shaft seal, topped up with oil and drove the car for a day. I then jacked it up to notice fluid all around the selector shaft and seal again. I have heard horror stories of the selector shaft being worn rendering a seal replacement useless...
Sorry for being a Noob but i'd really like to enjoy my new car. I got rid of the S13 to enjoy Toyota reliablity and I've had nothing but issues with it
I take it you're a respected mechanic? What are your costs?
