    ABS light

Ah ha - she's been locked up in the dealership garage for a number of weeks. I tend to keep her in the dry storage bays unless we need them for work. I'm based in the offices upstairs so the lads tend to move her around as and when they need the space... Might see if I can use trade plates to move her around a bit!

    ABS light

Hello! Sorry swamped by work recently... Yes i'm based opposite Toyota ironically! Unfortunately i've left the car running for a good 15-20 minutes or so and it still didn't go off. Though do you mean it needed to be rolling?
  3. Hi all, Trying to re-enter the fold after a cold start to the year and a new job with Infiniti. I'm trying to get my Sup through it's MOT. It failed on some stupid stuff like lightbulbs gone, seat not being adjustable, loose cable - all very easily fixable. But now the ABS light won't go off. At the showroom i'm based at the the guys don't have the correct diagnostic stuff to figure out what's wrong, so I was hoping someone here could help. The light was originally not coming on at all, but then forcing it to click into place has made it not turn off at all! Any ideas? Appreciate the help!
  4. I'm looking into getting some new seats as the electric drivers side has stopped working. It can't be adjusted when it's on, but adjusts when it's out of the car so if you wanted the seats just temporarily these might do (so long as you get it right before you bolt them in!) If you're interested i'll get in contact once i've got new ones in?
  5. So i've just finished painting the dash in gloss black (pics when it's sunnier if y'all want) as I was fed up having a terribly scratched and scuffed rubber surface and i'm moderately pleased with the results. It's not perfect by any means but it was my first attempt, and when I get some more time i'll be sanding it down and trying again. To add to the lovely effect I got in before Heckler stopped his LED conversions and he kindly provided me with red LEDs for the dash. I had to change the dials back to bulbs as red LEDs are a bit too dark to see anything useful, but made them white instead of the stock green. That's looking good too. To top it off i'm looking at putting in some metal to finish the effect. My first thought was the chrome rings for the dials, heater controls and circular air vents. My second through was stainless steel bits to go on the various lighty-up bits... (pics attached of these two ideas for reference) But of course i've got questions, especially from those of you that have done this/stuff like this. 1 - Should I do one, the other or both? 2 - If you've done both, do they look good or rubbish together? Is it too OTT and bling to have everything? I'm going for awesome but subtle! 3 - Best place to get them? I'm on ebay for the rings and Thor for the steel bits. Thanks in advance
  6. No thanks not for me - no brackets no need ^_^
  7. Any update on this? My dad's been stuck in the car for days because he can't get out.
  8. Saw it on a driveway on the road between the station and town centre, looking pretty fine I might add. Was leaving Whittlesey on friday after picking up my Sup from storage. Hello!
  9. Does it come with the bits to mount it to the car? If so, yes please i'll have it. If not.... well i've GOT a handle! Just the mounting bits are snapped off
  10. Beats are a massive scam - average sound quality for a huge price. And annoyingly sized cans for man-ears. Sennheisers are excellent value, even more so than Skullcandy's whose build quality is shoddy (despite having excellent audio quality; they are prone to break before you've even got the Sennheisers out of the parcel they're delivered in!). The Sennheisers have a great strong cable and the buds themselves are very durable, audio quality is second to none for the price and whilst Bose will be much better in general, most people won't be able to tell the difference. My personal preference for long durations is over-the-ear Sennheisers just because they're comfortable, but I know where you're coming from wanting the convenience of buds. I've found that the variable-sized rubber bits you get with the Skullcandys fit the Sennheisers perfectly and work extremely well for my ears. Just throwing it out there if they start to get uncomfortable after a while. And remember kids - you don't need in-ear buds to go as loud as all the other styles so you're saving your ears long-term damage
  11. What a beautiful car. If I hadn't got one already i'd snap this up. Unfortunately mine's not worth as much as yours
  12. I honestly wish I hadn't bought my HR-V now... That's just a beautiful car, and on the wishlist ^_^
  13. So it's on ebay.... http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/290665295286?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649#ht_500wt_1413 But in the event that someone from here wants it before the bidding ends, and wants to pay up front then i'm willing to pull the auction. Asking price is £300 It's practically new. Works perfectly and is a bit of a dream with that screen. I'm changing because i'm consolidating my life, and trying to cut back on expenditure (therefore instead of having an expensive phone, I now have my housemate's old 3gs, which has all my iOS apps from my iPad so will save me money in the long run). Comes with a little leather case, two USB docks and i'm sure I can find the earphones too if it's a clincher.

    Stickers...

One for the Supra... One for my little HR-V (Or maybe THIS... it's not a fast car ^_^)
