  5. Yep facelift. Thanks for the link, I'm still considering to buy these or the vibra technics. I get a really loud poping noise when shifting my autobox This is the how the mount looks. It don't look right to me so I figured best I change it. https://vimeo.com/167154423

  8. Thanks natony, I'll give you a shout tomorrow, Keron said he will let me know tomorrow.
  9. Not yet I haven't really had time to have a look at the car I've just finished uni so still recovering from the exam period lol. But I have had the wheels Balanced again from the same place, and the is still shaking in the steering. A good old friend of mine said he will look at the car for me properly as he was once owned a supra about 10 years ago and knows his stuff. He is saying ball joints of the subframe may have loosened because I get a slight clunk noise when braking. I have checked the pads and discs they all look fine and there is no movement there.
  10. No they do not fit over the uk spec callipers and the ofsets are weird on them. So they already stuck out slightly so putting spacers on the car would make it look funny. I have put j specs on the front as a temp I till I get some k sports as they have more clearance then the uk spec callipers.
  11. Mine came of and folded over The holes have been ripped So looking for a replacement
  12. Thanks Chris, hope all goes well myself. I think I need to brush up on my skills before starting then if they do drive you hard lol.
  13. Haha, I guess my problem solving skills are not on point or maybe it's just the final year stress. What ever the case I have been accepted on the McLaren graduate scheme starting in September. So I will have plenty of time to problem solve this issue. The weather has been bad and time has been taken revising. So once I have the time I'm sure I will get to bottom of it.
  14. I will continue to solve this problem once I get time hope fully in a week or two. I finish my Mechanical engineering degree on Friday then I will be free to work on the car
  15. The offsets on the new wheels are et25, don't think I can put the back on the front as they are staggered and the back are 10.5j
  16. I thought one one of the wheels may have been buckled or something.
  17. A friend of mine told me test it like that to see which one of the wheels are dodjy. I didn't really understand it myself. I could test the front wheels on another car to see if the steering shakes. I'm really not sure. [emoji15]
  18. Update: Okay so I had a bit of time today to swap wheels around AGAIN. And the results are as follows: Test one: Nearside front : new wheel Offside front: oem wheel Result : steering shaking at 40mph Test 2: Near side front : oem wheel Offside front : new wheel Result: shaking starting at 85mph Test 3: Front oem wheels Result: minimal shaking from 85/90mph if I had to scale it I would say 2/10, 10 being excessive.
  19. I had to do it on a budget as I am finishing uni now and only start working in September. So while the student finance is rolling in, I got budgets looking to get a better set once I start working
  20. Okay So i replaced the front wheels back to the original wheels and the shaking has gone completely, i had a look at the weights and its carrying 2x10g and 3x5g weights to one wheel and the other is 2x10g, and 1x5g, which i find strange as both the wheels are brand new and the tyres. Now im thinking it has something to do with the weight of the wheels.
  21. I don't feel as they are like crazy ofsets like some would have, these are 9J wheels with et25 ofsets so i wouldnt think its that much more. would the weight of the wheels have a impact on it as the after market wheels are much heavier. Need to look into the caster angle and see the condition of the wishbones. - - - Updated - - - I don't feel as they are like crazy ofsets like some would have, these are 9J wheels with et25 ofsets so i wouldnt think its that much more. would the weight of the wheels have a impact on it as the after market wheels are much heavier. 22. I think i may have the same issue.
