Thanks Chris, I have his old car so I'm sure he won't mind. I will try and have a go at that. And if that fails I can always take the calliper into work and put it on the cmm in metrology to take measurements but again it's time.

Yep as in smaller, the uk spec were touching the wheel face. Well skimming it very lightly. And I don't really want to go about using wheel spacers. Was going to order k sports which I am 99% sure offer more clearance but the ls400 callipers are a lot cheaper.
