Hello, My dad currently has one. He’s owned it for a number of years. In 3 months he had an issue, it’s a common fault I know there’s two of them one on each side of the engine maybe the actuators. It cost like £1000 for one but when this was replaced the bloke also changed something else that’s cost £350/£450 the car was fixed but soon after the other one went so that was another £1000 so he spent like £2,500 ish in 6 months. Check these have been fixed if you are looking at one, other than that he got the clutch changed, after this it’s been perfect. I think the cars done around 75,000 miles but it’s probably one of the best specs it has heated ventilated seats and the bolsters move when turning, heads up display, suade roof so on but not all of them have this. Regardless of the faults my dad loves the car, stuff like that doesn’t bother him he gets it fixed and enjoys himself. Every car has its common faults some are more realiable than others, It’s a fun car to drive more fun than a C6 or C7 Audi RS6, it sounds amazing as well and if you like a subtle looking car it’s ideal although I think the front looks plain a front splitter would definitely make it look smarter. My dad bought and sold cars and he would say that Bmw do have more electrical faults, more than merc who are close behind but Audi are more reliable overall but the drive is bland compared to Merc and Bmw.

If it's a Thursday or Friday I'll be up for it, I know weekday rates are cheaper plus it's quiet compared to weekends when it's heaving and more expensive maybe £10/£20 more per member but I could be wrong. If it has to be a Wednesday I could try and swap shifts with someone!

Hello, how have the meets been going, I changed departments at work but was only suppose to be for 6 weeks which meant I couldn't come along because I work up to 9:15 they then kept on extending the time on a weekly basis and I have a feeling it's permanent : $ if you ever change your meet days to Thursday/Friday/Saturday I should be good to come along but I don't expect a change just for 1 member. I think Ill be going to supra pod so will see you then who ever goes! Was hoping to get in some more events but had too many weddings over the last few weeks! But yeah hope everyone ok!

Hello, I have two nuts missing off my rear wheels one on each side, tried getting replacements preferably wheel locking nuts but nothing fits. I was told these were custom wheels and therefor cannot use stock nuts as they are too thick and the key wont fit in. The nuts I have are thin, Ive uploaded pictures of what are on it now and what I bought, the locking nuts are thicker just at the end that screws on the bolt otherwise they would have fitted but will be short in length as well. Been to local stores, halfords so on but no luck! Thanks

Hello everyone, did you have a good meet on wednesday? More supras turn up compared to my first meet up? I should be ok to come wednesday coming up if thats ok? Starting to see a few supras on the road and in garages getting work done. Saw a black jap spec at revolution getting wheel alignment, a bronze colour one at tesco north shield a few weeks ago, my brother also saw a white one but said a girl/lady was driving it but am sure I saw the same person last year at shell gateshead?

I remember hodge white one do you have pictures of yours. Am gonna order loads of fluids off oilman he had some titan coolant that was 4 or 5 litre but needed to be mixed. Just wanted to check how much the toyota stuff was before I decided which one but would I use De ionised water with the titan one? I know hodge built his own car rather than paying a garage but does he do work for members as well, I wanted my timing belt done but am worried someone might mess it up. Called up JM Imports said 10 days wait and wanted £350 belt included or £250 If I provide belt. Been looking for timing belt kit but can only find the belt, do you only change the belt and not the tensioner? Thanks

Hi Bossco, just checking because i thought it was dark red and concentrate but someone said its pink and ready mixed now, thanks. So ill obviously need them x2. When you get concentrate do you mix with de ionised water and not tap water. Am just waiting for the radiator support from keron, he said he had one and told me the price, when I asked how to pay him and if Postage was extra i got no reply and that was a week ago! maybe longer. The main dealer said I had to wait until mid to end of June! Did hodge sell his supra? What happened to yours stevo?

When I took one of them off i saw water slide from one side to the other, they could have been converted to miniature fish tanks lol looked at the picture and am really pleased with the work you have done! I was really iffy about not having them done in chrome but they really look the part they even match with the black surrounds on the rear lights. Cant wait to get them fitted. Thanks Scott.

I have the same problem was searching on here to make sure I get the right part off keron, is there any way of preventing this to happen on the new one? Toyota want £155 keron almost half the price.

I saw someone mentioned tyreleader website and it is by far the cheapest for tyres. I have tried blackcircle, other well known websites, locals stores, costco and ebay but all are more expensive. Am not sure what to go for, the pirelli p zero nero gt are the same price as the vredestein ultrac sessanta. They dont stock continentals though! I really appreciate all your feedbacks and response as it helps a lot. Oh and I forgot to mention but I only bring the car out in the summer and most drives are in the dry so am not concerned about wet weather driving too much. Thank you

Thank you, people mentioned websites for tyres that I never heard of and the tyres are 20% cheaper or more which is really cool. Everyone seems to like tyre brand vredestein and ive never heard of them before. Thanks James
