  1. As the nights are getting lighter does anyone fancy meeting this Friday evening? I know Cannock is centeral for alot of people so somewhere round there?
  2. Some pics of the nearly fixed paint! Looking surprising good! Went round with touch up paint, sanded down the small bits of lacquer peal and used a tiny makeup brush to apply the lacquer. Then spent hours polishing and waxing!
  3. It's official a Second old lady said how nice it was haha Two in one day!! [emoji13]
  4. 1 is my favourite followed by 7 and Tokyo drift doesn't really fit in!
  5. Well the 65 year old lady that lives next door said my supra was 'quite a beast' haha That was just now [emoji12]
  6. Cleaning it again today and doing some more work on the paint, I'll post a pic when it's dry! Just needs a major Polish and wax now! Will definitely get it resprayed in the future through! Aaaand I've ordered a new rear plate so that should be here this week!!
  7. Just got back from watching it, was a great film, very sad ending!
  8. Thanks for all your replies and comments, finally did the caliper today and it's working great! Really glad I waited for the seal and piston kit to arrive as the dust boot had ripped and the square seal wasn't looking good. The piston wasn't too bad I reckon a bit of wet and dry will make it good for a spare.
  9. I have some molykote grease designed for o-rings would this be ok? https://www.cromwell.co.uk/MLK7030550P
  10. By brake rubber do you mean the seal on the piston? Any other oil I can use? Didnt manage to do it today it's been raining and hailing! [emoji20]
  11. Mine did the exact same thing in the cold wet weather. It would lock and not unlock. After a few warmer dry days it started working again.
  12. Oh ok then, Yeh iv got some, also used a small gclamp on my fiesta when changing pads. I'll do it tomorrow and report back! [emoji1]
  13. What do you mean by pump pliers? Like pipe grips? http://m.screwfix.com/p/irwin-vice-grip-12-groove-joint-pliers/43518
  14. Yeh it doesn't look particularly difficult. So worth a go, hopefully I can free it off then buy a seal kit and piston. And thanks, need to get the paint looking shiny and finish the bonnet for japfest!
  15. And it will be again one day haha [emoji1]
  16. Yeh I know, just looking how to change the piston in the caliper as this is faaaar cheaper than a whole caliper! [emoji14]
  17. I'll give it a go at the weekend, had a look at tcb has alot of stuff on there! [emoji1]
  18. I wish my car was that shiny!
  19. Might sound stupid but how do you free the piston? Use a g clamp to push it back in? Not done this before.
  20. OK my rear drivers side caliper is sticking on because the alloy is hot and it smells baaad! Can the pistons be freed off or is it a new caliper job? It's a jspec caliper Thanks in advance!
  21. Ok, will give it a go soon, opened it up and it was clean inside, no indication of any water or dry looking joints which is good.
  22. Dam that's early, what time should we aim to arrive, not been before?
  23. I still haven't put mine in yet, although I did message mines and they never got back to me. I know you said raised redline and more aggressive fuel but wanted more specific info if they had it? Don't suppose you've still got there reply?
