Map sensor connected Throttle bod only has one hose on the top & one at an angle on the side. Checked all hoses & no improvement

Both the cam pulleys where set to TDC Crank pully is set to 0 on the cambelt cover Car starts & sounds perfect , no rise or full on idle , Just no power on accelerator Where would the map sensor be ?

Would anyone have a picture of the vac hoses i have a N/A 1995 auto Need to get car sorted as i need it for work tomorrow All help aprecciated

have solved the horrible noise, am just left with it hunting for power, starts fine, idles fine, but when the throttle is pushed it picks up really slowly? have checked inlet valve no split or leak, still puzzled on this last bit!!!

Hi guys I have just replaced head gasket Got car back together & it starts ok But When i put foot on accelerator all power drops , car almost stalls & i loud squelley noise like air being released from balloon while stretching the neck of it ! Sounds like its from the trottle body area Any ideas , been trying for two days now & not got much hair left.

Need help in finding one Size M11 Spline , needed for head bolts All shops that i have tried will only do M10 or M11 Been told toyota only !

Gonna be replacing the head gasket & need to know what order to tighten the bolts in & to what torque settings.

Could anyone help with the torque settings on the head bolts please.

I think the fuel problem is from the nitros Im gonna disconnect it & see how it goes. Car has developed a new problem Leaky head gasket ! Which i think is why i have some problems. Are these easy to change ? Is there a guide here for the torque setting for the head bolds ?

Power stering issue fixed , Low on fluids. The problem with the smell of petrol is worrying me Had the bonnet open today with the engine running & can see a lot of petrol dripping of the air filter !! This cant be right

There is a general smell of petrol Last week i took the air filter off the car & it was a strong smell of petrol on it Today while driving home i could smell petrol in the car ( not liking that ) i didnt have the heaters on either , i turned them on to see if the fumes where in the heating system but its not.

Will flush the water system tomorrow The power steering is louder then normal not too sure if its a cleanable filter , Think i will by a new one & see if that solves it. Thank you mellowman for the advice.

Hello all I have a 94 jap auto supra First problem is the radiator overflow tank is making gurgling noises & sometimes brown colour water weeps from the black hose on the tank. Second problem is power steering makes a whirring noise when i turn the steering wheel, could this be due to low fluids (not checked yet) Third problem is the smell of petrol fumes from the air filter Final problem I have a big stereo install done by a authorised dealer. Done a few years back when someone else owned the car. It has a split relay under the bonnet , optima yellow top in the boot & I had a new battery fitted in the front about a month ago. when driving with the stereo on the car wants to stall when i stop , could this be due to not enough charge to engine battery , Should i upgrade alternator or could the split relay not be working right or could this be some other issue All help would be gratefull

Looking at the photo above If its a N/A why is there a dump valve on the left ? Or has the N/A had a turbo conversion ?

Went over the the solder on the connector block with the soldering iron All fixed & working perfect Thank you all again for the advice

On the right side of dash there are engine oil light , Gearbox oil light & the abs light I have tested the bulbs which work The circuit board is connected but when i turn the ignition all the other dash bulbs work but not the board in question Any ideas ?

The light is on when i turn the key to the 2 position but its not flashing. When i start the car when its cold the light goes out as normal. Had a battery tester on it yesterday & it only had 55% starting power Got a new battery on the car now & runs better. Before it would run but when i stop at traffic lights the idle would go so low then cut out & wont start. Now it idles ok at traffic lights but if i shut the car down it wont start nice for about 30 mins .

I have the explanation mark light on the dash on The book says stop & check Done the diagnosis check & getting no errors !

If it was the injectors would'nt it splutter & misfire while driving ? Could it be an idle sensor problem
