Tried to remove the black metal sump cover but the cross member is in the way I could get my hand in there & the spline bit is not in the sump Maybe its still in the oil pan as the black sump cover is at the back half of the engine ! Will give the magnet a try

While removing the cylinder head a small spline bit fell down a hole in cylinder head Once the head was removed the spline bit had gone down the holes on the block I found the pic below of a supra block It has fallen down one of the holes that i have marked I cant remove oil pan as the cross member is in the way. At a guess its sitting in the oil pan somewhere I have the car on a sorn so even if it needs a complete strip then so be it Would it do damage if its left in there

Looking like a scam Read elsewhere that when they rang the number that they heard laughing in the background & they hung up on peis ople when they couldnt get any info like D.O.B Only post here for your views on this Cheers guys Yeah mate How you been ?

Today I recieved a letter from SRJ Dept recoveries They got my name & address correct I googled the phone number & found out its a telepest number I have read many posts elswhere about this & still not sure what to do! SRJ are a legal company But dont want to ring it incase it is a scam. The letter said : We have made enquiries for confirmation of your current place of residence, information has been received confirming that your address details have changed to this address. Due to data protection legislation details of the account are not included in this letter. Please call immediatly 08453137203, quoting the above refrence for more information. Yours Sincerely (poorly scanned squigly signature) SRJ What do you guys think Sounds dodgy to me

Evening all I have a N/A 1994 supra Auto I changed the head gasket a few months back & the car wont idle right. I have replaced the distributer cap & rotor arm, New spark plugs I have checked all the connectors which seem fine but im getting the oil light on the dash It has plenty of oil in it. Also getting engine management light on dash too Error code ( rear crank shaft ) Which is connected fine Before the head gasket change i had no problems The reason i changed the head gasket was it decided to leak in a bad way just as i got home one day. Is there anyone in the chelmsford (essex) area able to pop round & help me out Been trying to work this out for some time now & getting knowhere. The help would be really appriciated

Hello guys Getting error code 55 I found out it is the crank knock sensor (rear) either not connected or a short connection Can someone tell me where its located on the engine The supra is a 1995 jap spec N/A Auto mk4 Any help or suggestions welcome Also how do you reset the ecu memory to wipe out the error code

Hi all I have the concept 300 fitted to the supra The problem i have is its way to sensitive ! Anyone know how i can turn it down as i have been leaving the alarm of with all this wind. Need this sorted as i found screwdriver marks near driver door glass.

Changed head gasket on mine last week & everything is fine No loss of power No smoking . -
The noise was caused by a loose bolt that holds the trottle body together. I done what you said with the distributor & the car burst into life. Really appreciate your help this weekend i will pay for membership on here as i think its worth it .

On the back of the water pump there is a core plug Mine now has a tiny hole in it , the pump was replaced not so long ago. I have measured it & it looks like 20mm is this right or is there an imperial size closer ?

How do i know when cylinder 1 is at TDC ? Is it when crank pully is at TDC

I did take the distributor out Is there a certain way that it goes back in , ie markings. The head gasket was changed due to oil leak at front & one at the back. Car was not over heating or smokey.

Do you adjust the ignition timing by rotating the distributor .
