Hi guys trying to fit my 2 decats today Not sure how the first decat is going to seal at the top 2 flanges where it meets the manifold Standard is like this with a ring gasket on each flange New ones are like this with no gaskets And the second decat looks an inch bigger than the cat when next to each other Any ideas??

Ill take some pics and a before and after video definately Quite happy as the new pipes came with gaskets etc Little worried about the first decat as standard pipe looks to be stud and nut at the top end. I have a bad feeling about those from past experiences lol

I dont mind loud unless its rediculous so see how they sound when fitted. If its too loud i may remove one OR ill just man up and live with it lol

Recieved my decat pipes from Whifbitz today Fitting them on saturday

Bronze rota grids are going on mine in 2 weeks 18x10 rears and 8.5 fronts Hoping it will look alot better than it does now

Leather gaiters were worn so decided to replace them Got some with red stitching to look a bit different Aftermarket gearknob on the car was loose and held on by electrical tape so i fitted one i had lying round from previous cars for now New one is on its way, just a satin silver ball type Also the kenwood double din all fitted and working well

I have a set from my previous car sat here Was in 2 minds whether to sell them or fit them to the supra. I just hated fitting them, no room for error lol

Wicked what wheels you gone for? Ive found the supra the hardest car ive owned to pick wheels for lol Not sure whether to stick with 255 tyres on rear or go slightly wider yet

Prob try and stick with the ET35 on the 10" rears then Had a look at his and it does look good

Been looking at some Rota Grids in bronze 18x8.5 on the front ET30 18x10 ET35 OR 18x9.5 ET20 on the rear Does anyone know if i could get away with the 10" ET20 on the back or is it pushing it a bit? Tyre wise i would run 235 40 18 on the front and 255 35 18 on the rear if that sounds about right?

Posted on here about my washer jets not working Didnt realise the button on the end as i was pulling the stalk inwards 4 weeks without my washer jets for that reason!

Ok cancel that last request After a search ive just worked out its the button on the end of the stalk. I was pulling the stalk inwards like most cars do lol *runs and hides*

Mines a 5 speed ill have to try and find one from somewhere. Another question i have (rather than starting a new thread) Does the front and rear washer jets run off the same motor? My fronts had all the tubing removed (carbon bonnet previously on the car) so ive fitted all the tubing back on, the rear washer works fine now but there is no noise at all when i try to use the fronts Cheers

Thought so, is it a complete;y seperate part on its own or is it part of the knob or gaiter? Hoping i can buy one from somewhere

Anyone? Im looking to buy a d1 carbon gear knob but guessing ill have the same problem with the gaiter once thats fitted aswell

Probably a stupid question... My car has an aftermarket gearknob, the top of the leather gaiter is wider than the bottom of the gear knob and is all loose and unsucure, bugging me as it looks pretty crap! Im guessing from factory it had some sort of collar or something to secure the gaiter to the gearknob Is the bit im missing part of the standard gear knob or has it been removed from my gaiter? Can i buy this part from anywhere?

I did read the thread about passing an mot without the cats. Is that a definate then?

I only noticed his section in the traders forum after i had bought the decats already. Im after a few other bits though so ill be in touch with him about them

Really whats the reason for it feeling gutless? thought it would be less restrictive and feel better? Ill never bin the cats anyway, always keep hold of them

Decided to sort the audio out in the car as i werent happy with how it was done Bought a Kenwood DX3021 double din dvd etc etc Rewired the front and rear componants and tweeters correctly with some proper speaker cable, the + and - had been connected the wrong way previous owner(s) which effected the sound massively! Small 10" sub with a decent amp just to add that extra bit that was missing from the music. I now have a fully working aerial aswell now so i can use the radio, (although does anyone think the aerial looks a bit.......crap?) Oh and lastly ive ordered 1st and 2nd decats from Whifbitz which should arrive in the next couple of weeks Unfortunately today was its first venture out since last thursday due to looking like this

Not even attempting to get mine off the driveway Its parked on forwards aswell on a hill so back wheels will be first to hit the top.....no traction control and normal tyres...probably not worth trying

Is there anyone on here able to identify what wheels my car has? The are OZ but not sure which ones?

What size tyres have you got on those monsween?
