  2. Yeah JDukesy that was me, very first drive down union street in it and i pass another red supra! hah yea that was quite entertaining to say the last. a mate from work also spotted you cruising about later on and said he started waving at you before he realised you had black wheels and werent me haha. Sweet looking motor tho mate Certainly is Mart, what is that button just next to the immobiliser for tho? i've had about 5 people press it and none of us can figure out what its for?
  3. First post updated with Pictures.
  4. It's certainly not quiet, went through a massive long tunnel in London and just about had an accident in my pants with the noise! Had to stop in Dunfermline to get some sleep tho, think the 4am start was just a bit too much. Round 2...Fight!
  5. Once and it still had a quarter tank left, that was after 320 miles! Gauge has only just started moving again and I'm at 400 miles. P.s. this car is awesome
  6. Taken a bunch of pics but no idea how to upload them from my phone? Anyways, 150 miles into my journey and I'm already in love, I always had expectations of this car but my god isn't it fun! Been getting a fair amount of attention too! 450 miles to go and I'm still feeling fresh
  7. Right lads, first post coming from the train on my way to Canterbury, genuinely feel like a little kid waiting for his parents to wake up on Christmas day. My epic breakfast wassss......a snickers! No time for anything else yet, will fatten up in Canterbury! Surprisingly large amount of American totty on my journey so far, they are everywhere!
  8. So as of 7:00am tomorrow morning i will be heading down to Kent to purchase my first Supra from Supramart. this journey will begin with a flight from Aberdeen airport to Gatwick, Gatwick Express to Victoria station then Victoria station to a Kent railway station where i will then bus/taxi it to my mid-way destination where the transaction will take place. Then the fun part, the 600+ mile blast from the south east of England to the north east of Scotland. Now i've done long drives before but i've got a funny feeling this one is going to be a bit special if this thread is still alive come 8:45 tomorrow morning (when my flight lands) then i will aim to keep it updated with pics and whatnot from my first blast in the Supra. May not be that interesting to read but i sure hope its interesting to do! Shortly after picking up the car i stopped for food, since i hadn't eaten all day! took a couple when on my way back to the car: A quick snap from the Hotel car park before i headed in for a few cheeky hours sleep: Got a phone call early the next morning so pulled over to answer, since the sun was out and making the car look lovely i couldn't help myself!: "Epic breakfast" as requested haha: 612.8 miles later she is parked up outside her new home: Seeing this word on my steering wheel instead of the vauxhall Griffon brings me immeasurable pleasure: And that's pretty much it! wasn't too dramatic but it certainly was fun.
  9. Hard work? im 23 and just about to buy my first Supra tomorrow morning from a guy on here! surely having a decent job is the only way to fund anything thats even slightly expensive?
  10. was eating a twix while i read this....felt ripped off, suddenly became less enjoyable considering the options!
  11. Looking awesome mate! i've got a red N/A 5spd manual heading my way on friday (hopefully), might see if i could head to a Grampian wide meet and get some pictures of them all, would be tidy!
  12. Don't worry Rob and Mart, she will be treated with nothing but love! think i spoke to one of the guys from up here on this forum a while back when i was Supra hunting and he informed me of where they normally hold Aberdeen local meets so i might pop along there if that invite is still open. Also, Sent Keron a message earlier on and he has an A/C pump on the shelf so that will be ordered as soon as i pick up the car
  13. Deal is done RobD Probably picking it up friday, spoke to Mart last night so chuffed.
  14. I will be purchasing Supramarts Supra (via Russ, The Raven) hopefully this week/weekend and wouldn't mind heading down to this in that Supra. Will confirm later this week Neil

    Htc one x

pretty much agree with everything said about the HTC so far, i've had mine for just over a week and its scary good, i jumped from the HTC Desire which i considered to still be a decent handset at the time to the One X and good lord i just about Mansploded when i rented Iron Man for 5p from the HTC Watch App and tested that screen quality! Don't think i'll be disappointed with this phone...ever, not counting the battery of course, can you imagine how bad the battery will be in a years time? don't even want to imagine that! Edit: While i'm here, how the heck do i buy my owner club membership? i cant see a link/thread for it anywhere??
  16. Does anyone ever receive replies to E-mails through autotrader? I must have E-mailed (sp?) around 12 dealers about different cars over the last 10 days but never seem to get a reply. Am i just going to have to call them? Normally i wouldn't mind but i don't really have time to be making phone calls in the middle of the day just now. Cheers for any info Neil D
  17. Missus asked me to record this for her last night as its one of her favorites. I just cant take it seriously, it's Monk ffs!
  18. Holy balls! i thought the 1.4k i will have to pay for mine was high! granted it is stock tho.
  19. that was my initial idea but thought i would buy the supra before becoming a club member haha. Will do that just now tho, and at least that means i have get a funky avatar up
  20. Total noob at that kind of stuff and was curious as to how you would go about sourcing a new engine (2jz-GE). i tried ebay but wouldnt be too keen on buying an engine from an ebay seller, what other kinds of places are there? doesnt have to actually be 'new' just in good nick. cheers for the info Neil.
