  1. "i really want a Supra or an M3 but i bought a Mini Cooper instead" lolwut.
  2. Any idea on what you're doing with it yet mate? Option 4: Sell it back to me and i will fix the paint while some other work is getting done to it over winter.
  3. Well there we go then, top lad.
  4. There is quite a few in the deen', drove past a silver one yesterday and seen DB a couple of weeks ago too.
  5. Me and the Missus 2 in total Sorry for late reply, i'm a busy wee beaver
  6. Evo looks poop next to those beautys, nice pics.
  7. What company is the cinema? is it a Cineworld? I've only ever been to Xscape once and it was for the indoor snowboarding place.
  8. Just got a text saying "car ready 2 pick up", no explanation of what the hell they were doing wrong or apologies for having the car for 3-4 weeks longer than they should have. Cheers for the help/info guys, and all the offers of lending me a Cat (meow) aswell. It's good to see first hand how people in this OC look out for each other and hopefully i'll get to see some of you at a meet soon!
  9. Me and the missus are up for this! ROAD TRIP!
  10. Thanks for the info, the guy seems pretty stubborn but he is checking out his computer or whatever it was just now. Unfortunately the garage is based just outside of the city and obviously they have my car so i dont think i can get them to show me, i wouldn't normally put my car somewhere so difficult to get to but with it being a family friend and all that i figured it would be worth the slight amount of extra hassle. If he calls back and tells me there are more problems then i will try and get him to take a look at this page thread and hope he realises he is going wrong somewhere. Thanks again for all the help i hope to have this all sorted out by this evening and will update on how i get on.
  11. *Update* Finally got in touch with the guys at the garage and he claims that even though it is a 1994 car that was imported that they CAN find an exact match in the system (using the engine number) and so run an emissions test including Cat test. I tried to argue that they shouldn't be able to find an exact match in a UK database as they didn't make NA UK cars so he must be testing is as if it was a TT, is this correct? he says they will check the computer and get back to me later. Is it possible at all that they can get an exact match and therefor i have no choice but to get a 2nd cat and lambda sensor?
  12. Sounds like it would be a decent experience, did you have to go along to one of those car audition things with thousands of cars for them to pick from? I am ok with this....
  13. there is quite a few things i'd like to share with Gina. An MMA ring however is not one of them.
  14. My Supra is named Gina after her A couple of days? How does that work? Do they keep your car for those days or do you have to come back in?
  15. The child in me would rather have a calpol mixed with hot water nomnomnom
  16. searched both "2nd cat" and "second cat" neither of which yield literally ANY results on the search function. secondly, i would much MUCH rather be a little slow than a condescending d*ck, but i guess that's the difference between the kind of people who enjoy being condescending and the kind who don't. Oh, and thank you.
  17. Yea i edited my post about 10 seconds later once i had looked at it properly, no need to turn into a condescending d*ck?
  18. I am about to E-Mail the guys who have my car this flowchart just now and see what they say, if not then i will be getting in touch with you guys. is that flowchart literally everything that i would need to convince them that the car shouldnt need a full cat test? looking at that flow chart it says it needs a reading from the lambda sensor is this correct? as per one of my previous posts the garage say it looks like whoever swapped the cat for a straight through pipe just snipped the wires and removed the lambda sensor, meaning there is not one there at all. edit: nevermind, just realised i read that wrong
  19. I'll have to try and find this info then. i will have to direct him towards this thread, because surely they must have put it down as the wrong kind of car before it could fail if thats the case? would you be willing to lease said cat should it be required? Cheers for all the info guys it is very much appreciated, it's been a serious ballache trying to get this thing through and as you can probably tell it's my first time doing it with anything like a Supra! hopefully i can get it all cleared up tomorrow. Sausages sandwiches are on me if i ever see any of you at a meet!
  20. this is initally what i thought they would do but for whatever reason he said it was a no go, He did say that because it wasn't a safety issue he would try and wangle it through but then later on said it was a no go
  21. test has been done already at two different garages, first was a small family run garage and second is a bigger garage owned by a family friend, both failed due to there not being a lambda sensor because it apparently should be housed in the same part of the exhaust as the 2nd cat which had been lopped off and replaced with a straight through pipe, they said there were just bare wires their but no sensor. Whoever it was that decatted the exhaust it just seemed like they took a pair of snips to the wires and lopped it off. - - - Updated - - - "for uk TT" unfortunately i am on a J-spec NA haha
  22. Ahhh ok, cheers for that, will save these pictures for future reference.
