Well I know sod all about them but looking at those two I'd go for the Renault. It may have done more miles (and if my experiences with Renaults are anything to go by the electrics will be crap and totally unfathomable) but those old Sherpas are real bone shakers. The technology dates from the 70s. And if it's mainly for Le Mans you can bet if you break down the local French garage will know more about that Renault and where to get spare parts quick than they will with the Sherpa

Should be getting that for Chrimbo. What's the single player game like? Pants ending so I heard (as bad as Medal of Honour?). Don't give me any spoilers though! I really must get round to buying HL2 at some point, and GTA:SA. Damn CoD online and Sim City 4 keep taking up my time.

I get 55Mb of webspace with my NTL account and I'd quite like to start using it for keeping pics on, etc. Now I only ever uploaded a single image about 7 years ago and for that I used the built-in Win98 client (or was it Win95?) so I've no idea what I'm doing really - can anyone recommend an idiot-proof, free FTP client doobry? NTL want £20 for theirs.

The motorway out of Las Palmas is billard table smooth, be a fantastic blast - cool tunnels too. The new road up into the mountains from Telde would also be fun. I wouldn't fancy the cliffside route around Puerto Rico to Mogen though 10mph 90' blind bends with a sheer drop the other side of the barrier and a holiday coach coming the other way. Gulp. Isn't Gunmetal only on the facelifts though? You can't go wrong with silver - let's face it, practically any car looks good in silver, it's a very neutral colour. Hmmm, which I guess could mean if you have something as special as a Supra you should get a more special colour. But since I'll have a silver car for sale in January I'd better vote silver

I've looked at these myself in the past (having a silver Aerotop) and decided that they only look half decent on black cars as it looks like part of the bodywork.

Terry, far be it from me to stick my nose in, but I was wondering if anyone had asked him about this sort of thing - just putting myself in his shoes, would I want to read about fast Jap cars, knowing that I had one of the fastest in the country sitting at home, and won't be able to do anything with it for so many years? I don't know the guy that well, just a thought. Would more 'neutral' (ie, non fast car related) magazines be better? (I know that fast cars is Dude's thing so if that's his interest then fine, no worries)
