  1. Okay, put brake fluid into white tank doobry and not on paintwork, I got it. DOT 5.1 from Halfords. Okay. Wish me luck.
  2. Oooo, yes, sorry, didn't think of it like that, I was more responding to the comment about cars being available under £10,000. Sorry BOLTS (for any potential purchasers, his car does have less mileage than mine)
  3. Blimey, I'm selling the thing I don't want to splash out. Can't I just bung Halfords Super Glug or something into it? Ta for the filling tip.
  4. That thing at top left, yeah? Excellent, I think even I could manage to find that. I was going to use 'brake fluid' (very Jake-esque).
  5. Getting the flashing warning light on acceleration and braking so I'm going to check/add brake fluid. Er... so where is the thing I'm meant to be checking, and where does one obtain this 'brake fluid' stuff from, and is there different types and what type do I want? I check oil and water but beyond that I pay a small manservant at the garage to do my bidding as I don't understand cars.
  6. Excellent, I've baffled the boffins with that one!
  7. My price will be £8500. 1993 at 89,000 miles.
  8. Although I build my own PCs I'm not a techie so excuse this question which is presented in Pano-Man-On-The-Street-O-Vision: I was under the impression that routers didn't 'act' or 'appear' as PCs and that's why they are considered a good form of defence. In other words, if someone is looking at your router it doesn't 'look' like a PC so they wouldn't bother to hack or probe any further, whereas a PC does actually look like a PC on the interweb and that's why they look more juicy to hack. I thought a router just looked like part of the interweb and you'd never know there was anything connected to it worth hacking. Is this crap? Also, it's been round for years, but you can't beat a good probe of your ports with 'Shields Up' A quick & basic check of your PC's vulnerability. https://www.grc.com/x/ne.dll?bh0bkyd2
  9. Router + Zonealarm (the free version). Never had a problem in years.
  10. To sell me Supra. Chances of sticking to it? 100%! It's going up for sale the moment I get off my bum and clean it so I can take some photos.

  12. Completed it last night and had my first taste of online today. Only played 3 maps but it seems pretty good online.
  13. Isn't bunnyhopping where you exploit a fault in the game engine by using the jump button to achieve faster than normal speeds? You hop around at lighting fast speeds.
  14. Road Car - Lancia Stratos http://www.iol.ie/~donohoer/Lancia_Stratos_street_front_quarter.jpg Open wheeled race car - Senna's 1996 Lotus (with the red Martini Brabhams a close second (except the 1979 version) http://www.john-w.de/models/f1/1_18/mc18014c.jpg Closed wheel race car - Porsche 917 (and yes, I know two of the above are photos of models!)
  15. When is this game going to get good? I've just completed the British campaign in France (3/4 way through?) and so far I think it's very average. What's all the fuss about? It feels like I've seen it all before - snipe the mortar teams from the roof, shoot the planes, drive around in the cars and shoot at things, drive a tank, defend the house for 4 mins before you're relieved... I've done all this before in Medal of Honour and CoD. The only thing I like is that you can do objectives in no set order and the paths through towns and things aren't too linear (you can outflank machine guns nests by going behind houses for example). Other than that... hmmmm.
  16. Yep, very enjoyable! Wow... Peter Waterman's trainset.
  17. I'd never have a manual Supra, and that's from someone who'd had 5 manual cars before.
  18. But surely you're committing crimes against the Supra if you help him purchase them? Be firm, man. Tell him 'No'.
  19. I've pondered on getting an Aerotop NA, but it's still a gas guzzler, so realistically no.
  20. Probably a Golf 1.4 or 1.6. No point in having the Supra - I drive along 30-40mph roads to work and never get chance to use the performance. Why spend all that money on insurance+petrol? I think it's time to get a car that is suitable for the journeys I do. I love the car, but... time to be sensible about things. Plus the extra money will be ploughed into some building work we're having done. Btw, the second page of the brochure: the picture one down from top right shows the ultra-rare knee bolsters. I've only ever seen a picture of these once on someone's car, and it wasn't on this forum. I wonder if anyone here actually has them?! And who would have thought that you could get footwell neons factory fitted!
