ok i'm back going to run some numbers through mods and if approved report back to this thread. Still a lot of questions I've not got answers for yet. Does anyone know the clearance of the front and skirts as thats my primary reason for wanting them. Weight also. If they are plastic they should be a lot lighter than fibreglass I hope.

On my way to Vegas at the moment still trying to get more info and discounts but it sounds doable. CheaP as possible IMO. The shipping quote for 1 unit FYI was $600. Hopefully can get that cheaper. Anyway we can Import rhrough a company to save vat?

Initial feedback from Stillen is that 5 bumpers would cost $900 or $1500 for 10+ bumpers. (Ten might be quite high but cuts the costs a lot) I've asked for more details about costs and indeed about bulk buying discounts on the Unit Prices. Does anyone know what taxes are applicable to imports. I think Duty, VAT and Admin Fee? I'm heading to vegas tomorrow so won't be able to look into this more until next week, but sounds viable.

Ignore this one post..,mistake

Anyone get a price for these? I'm on the look out for one also. If there are a number of people who want these we might be able to share the cost of shipping to get them cheaper, and maybe even a bulk discount. Currently listed about £264 on their website but then you have import taxes etc. If these are in demand it may be worth taking a punt on a few extras for resale to other members and make some money back on them. I'm going to look into it, post if you still want one of these. I'm going to look at the skirts also, as wondering if the VS skirts I have will go with this....Stillen seem a little more subtle. http://www.stillen.com/product.asp?id=STIBODY10&c=EX&b=STILLEN&year=1994&make=TOYOTA&model=SUPRA Also anyone know if they only have ever made one style of front, as the one on the website picture and the ones in this thread look a little different. Maybe its the colour that doesn't show the contours.

Looks good. Very interested in Twin builds myself so will keep an eye on this thread too. What sort of max bhp are you hoping to get out of this build?

Damn thats the knob I like the most (trying to find one)....any other titanium ones to be had? All i've found so far is richbrook anodised aluminium...hope to find better though. http://www.richbrook-styling.co.uk/gear-knobs/touring/95 Shame they don't have a matching brake handle and pedals.

I didn't want to hijack the other bumper thread, some thought I'd make hopefully a quick one. I'm looking for a new front bumper, as I currently have a Veilside C1 and I've found it to be too low when going up and down ramps, having already bashed it a few times. I want an easy life so looking for a higher bumper that doesn't stick out as much, if this exists! I've struggled to find any dimensions stated on websites and probably not using the right key words on here to find previous threads that might be helpful, but I ask, does anyone know where I can find any info on the height and depth of body kits? I've resorted to studying pictures on this forum, and all the aftermarket front bumpers look like they are all very low and mostley deep too...which would lead me to think the OEM, standard, with no lip is going to be what I have to get! OMG! Downgrade?! (But may look better than the C1 anyway imo!) If anyone has any advice here, or ideas of where to look please shout! Cheers!

I love searching on this forum for answers to questions I have and finding they have already been discussed already, and in this case, on the car I've actually bought! Still got the Bose labled speakers in the back. I'll have to test that they are working still and may replace them if they are not sounding good.
-
Not sure...how can I find out? I just measure them from rim to rim? Does width relate to the tyre width. I'll check this out and driftworks.

Trying to work out whether to have my wheels refurbed or just get new wheels, however I'm not sure what model they are as guessing they are quite old and not in the current catalogue. Inovite wheels don't seem to be that expensive so thinking the 2nd hand value might not be great, and but probably not worth refurbing. I don't know what the offset is but I do know they are 18" with Front (235/40/18) and Rears (255/35/18). Anyone have a stab at model or value? The tyres are new on the rears and about a year old on the fronts so may be worth some £'s.

Ok so the real reason I've started this thread now is to show you all my nuts.... Now I'm starting to the a new set of wheels are needed.... I've also had the Suspension raised a bit as I want the car to be a little more practical and so I can park it without rubbing the floor and hitting the exhust over steep bumps. Some maintainace is required and some ICE also I think.

I think this is probably why cars get bought from the UK by Europeans, not sure how the big the market is in the Euro zone but everything comparitively has become a lot more expensive over there....best for UK people to move the cars onto Europe and make a few quid out of it. (Not i'm speculating here!)

Pics of your Aftermarket Front Bumper with number plate....
Starbuck replied to cje001's topic in Supra Chat
Interested in this also. Got a Veilside C1 on the front of mine with the plate in the middle of the grill. See some with plates on the top of the bumper instead, which while not perfect looks better I think. I'm wondering if there are regulations on where and how big the plate has to be. Will post my findings or if anyone knows. There are some pictures in the member section gallery for front bumpers also to give you an idea. -
So they bought the mats from Autostyle? These seem to be the same mats as on ebay. http://www.autostyle.co.uk/designer_car_mats.asp?idmake=60&selection=21390,2518 The group buy price that scott got looks good, so wondering if there are anymore people that want mats from here, they may do a similar deal for another group buy (I can check with a mod if its possible) Anyone that bought a mat from here posted any pictures? would be nice to see the finished article if different to Scotts thread.

http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?233168-Custom-Tailored-Car-Mats-with-quot-Supra-quot-Logo-Set-of-4./page17 This one by the looks of it...there are some other threads about mats but these do look good. Will take a look in more detail when I get home to work out who the supplier is.

I've been doing a few searches for suppliers of high quality carpet mats, however not found many that really stand out so far. Has anyone used anyone in the past? I'm not looking for new stock mats or anything branded just, like them to be made of wool and leather rather than Nylon and imitation etc, and colour selection...hopefully they don't weigh too much...

I may be tempted to come to this as a complete noob, just to get some practice and an official 1/4 mile time. Would of course attempt to race anyone. I'm not sure how busy it gets at these events and whether there is enough time during the day, but have you guys ever done a knock out tournament...maybe by weight class.
-
I managed 500 miles at the weekend from about 90 liters in RZ TT with BPU. Not sure if cruising at 80-85 in 6th gear is the most efficient.

If anyone is interested there are a few sets of Rays lightweight nuts on ebay at the moment for £69 for a set of 20 including four locking nuts and free postage. Few different colours. I think thats a good price? I can't post the link from work but essentially if your search for wheel locking nuts and sort by price you'll be able to find them.

Some titanium nuts here but they are costly! http://www.lancerregister.com/showthread.php?t=342511

After a bit of thought I've decided to name the car after the Japanese thundergod Raijin (雷神) commonly known in the west as Raiden. Now the important stuff is done, I need to sort the suspsension so I can actually park the car and use it! Hopefully going to SRD on Sunday. Thanks to all for your welcome and advice.
