  1. Cheers will alter when I'm back on the Mac
  2. Very true! Chris - I pinged you an email re handling including wheel/tyre size and their impact did you receive it? Just thought I'd pull this together: I realise that wheel sizes are not completely comparable but even with a wider tyre on stock wheels, they are holding their own unless you go with a very modern forged wheel.
  3. Have a quick question, has anyone weighed a set of Lexus/TTE wheels? If anyone has this info for the 18x8.5 and 18x10 wheels that would be great
  4. 10.5" with a 37 offset should sit well with the arches and allow you to get a decent sized tyre on there, think a 24 offset would be very tight and a stretched tyre would be needed for it to fit
  5. Fitz go for the wheels you were trying to poach off me way back when Or the deeper ones that Baldy has http://www.ravspeconline.com/images/wheels/advan/rsd/advan-rsd-180.jpg 295/35 et35 cut or rolled arch and a good stance, this is the best pic I can find of the rear arch/tyre on my old one:
  6. Hopefully the wife is coming so need to make sure there is room for her is she does Not sure if she's ready to meet you Burna

    its coming....

Does NT in your post mean non-turbo? As if it does it isn't a uk spec, only turbo models were sold.
  14. Looking forward to seeing the results, it's a very nice spec!
  15. Cheer, the finch is a very nice car, can be used all year round. The M5 can be but you have to be a little extra careful with the lack of 4WD This is very true!
  16. Bump, will get additional pics as per PM's this weekend Sump pan sold
  17. That does seem reasonable I paid £4450 so seems about right. I need to clean the M5 and hopefully will do it this weekend if weather permits and will try and capture how glossy the paint looks, here is a pic prior to the PPF being fitted (the most glossy being a shot of the bonet lol) The special car is a 993 Carrera RS Clubsport, I'm ashamed to say it hasn't seen a road for 10 months
  18. Just like me, I use gtechniq c1/exo or a good sealant after a full detail (stage 3 or higher) then add a layer of quality wax just before a show or every so many weeks to really make the paint look it's best. If you have a full detail prior to the self healing film it will look fantastic each time, if there is a mark applying heat allows the film to 'heal'. I have it on my M5, had it on since February so it saw some winter weather and is used daily and it still looks good. But I still seal and wax my special car in the garage
  19. Glad to see your keeping it as clean as I did underneath! Will be very different when you get it back, but definitely a good different!
  20. Get the works done with the self healing film, Tim has his car sorted down there along with his 675LT I've seen both the 650S and the 675LT in the flesh and the finish is very good
